Patent number: 11974576Abstract: A gas-powered oven includes a cooking surface and a heat deflecting frame, such that the cooking surface and heat deflecting frame collectively define at least a portion of a cooking chamber. An outer housing extends around the cooking surface and the heat deflecting frame, with the outer housing having an opening formed therein and in communication with the cooking chamber. A first burner is connectable to a gas source and is located within the outer housing and spaced from the cooking chamber. The first burner is elongate and includes a first array of openings formed therein. A second burner is connectable to the gas source and extends into the cooking chamber toward a portion of the heat deflecting frame. The second burner includes a tapered passageway and an expanding passageway downstream of the tapered passageway to achieve desired flow characteristics of the gas flowing through the second burner.Type: GrantFiled: May 12, 2021Date of Patent: May 7, 2024Assignee: Banana Stand Brands LLCInventors: Scott Andrew Raio, Brad Kent, Steve Raio

Patent number: 11937822Abstract: A device for creating a fistula between blood vessels operates in conjunction with a guidewire to locate and position itself so that it straddles both vessels and is able to draw them together. A fixing agent is released either from within the device or from an external needle, or both, into the procedural site. The fixing agent functions to hold the relative position of the two vessels, to seal the surrounding tissue so that any leaks that do occur don't spread into the tissue to create a hematoma, and to limit expansion of the fistula. After the vessels are in close proximity to each other and the fixing agent is applied, the device of the invention employs a cutting mechanism which opens a portal between the two vessels.Type: GrantFiled: July 6, 2020Date of Patent: March 26, 2024Assignee: AVENU MEDICAL, INC.Inventors: Seth Arnold Foerster, Brad Mathew Kellerman, Mark Andrew Ritchart, Justin Kellogg Mann

Patent number: 11915285Abstract: Methods and systems described in this disclosure are directed to authentication of calling parties. The authentication of calling parties applies to simultaneous voice and/or data communications with multiple parties over multiple electronic mediums including a variety of electronic devices. A user can continue to maintain a data exchange session with a representative of an entity offering the goods or services of interest to the user across more than one user device. In some embodiments, a user can invite other parties in a multi-party call involving the user and the representative. Various embodiments for multi-party and multi-device authentication mechanisms are described herein. In some embodiments, the system calculates an estimated call waiting time for a user to speak with the representative.Type: GrantFiled: July 21, 2021Date of Patent: February 27, 2024Assignee: United Services Automobile Association (USAA)Inventors: Emily Margaret Gray, Ross Andrew Thiele, David Alexander Lilley, Justin Dax Haslam, Brad D. Patent number: 11785131Abstract: Disclosed is a system and method of providing enhanced content to a PSAP or other service center whereby when a 911 call is to be initiated, prior to the call or text communication being sent, the software application on the device contacts the cloud-based dynamic page service. The cloud-based dynamic page service receives event information, dynamically creates a page for the event along with a page identifier, and sends the page identifier to the software application of the initiating device. Then, the software application on the device initiates a 911 communication and includes the page identifier with the communication. In some cases, the page identifier may be sent as a separate communication.Type: GrantFiled: March 12, 2021Date of Patent: October 10, 2023Assignee: BEAMLIVE INCInventors: Mehrdad Negahban, Michael Patrick Jones, Sahand Negahban Hagh, Brad Andrew Keahi Beck, Edward Chau Hoy

Patent number: 11660830Abstract: Aircraft that incorporates a rounded-hat composite stringer connected to an inner side of the skin of the aircraft to form an elongate conduit that defines a conduit axis, where the conduit axis includes at least one curving portion. The rounded-hat composite stringer can be manufactured by constructing a lower forming die and an upper forming die, each forming die having a length and defining a curve along at least a portion of the length of the die, cutting a pre-cured flat composite charge dimensioned to form the rounded-hat composite stringer, pressing the flat composite charge between the lower and upper forming dies to shape the composite charge into a pre-formed stringer having an inner side between curved fillet portions, contacting a forming member against the inner side of the pre-formed stringer, applying radius fillers to the curved fillet portions of the pre-formed stringer, curing the pre-formed stringer, and removing the forming member from the cured stringer.Type: GrantFiled: January 18, 2019Date of Patent: May 30, 2023Assignee: The Boeing CompanyInventors: Daniel Rotter, Lisa Carlson, Brad Andrew Coxon, Hyukbong Kwon, Khanh Mai Pham, Darrell D. Publication number: 20220116935Abstract: Disclosed is a system and method of automatically generating an event-based request communication (“ERC”) and routing the ERC to a public safety answering point (“PSAP”) (or other call center) to service the ERC based on PSAP profiles that each specify capabilities of a given PSAP. A client device may be programmed to obtain the capabilities of a relevant PSAP, and generate and communicate an ERC based on the capabilities of the PSAP. The ERC may be generated in a format that the relevant PSAP is capable of processing. The format may include a voice call, a text message, an electronic mail message, a shortwave radio communication, and/or other type of broadband wireless or wireline communication.Type: ApplicationFiled: June 23, 2021Publication date: April 14, 2022Inventors: Mehrdad Negahban, Michael Patrick Jones, Sahand Negahban Hagh, Brad Andrew Keahi Beck

Patent number: 11135789Abstract: Methods and devices of fabricating a stringer for a vehicle. The stringer can be constructed from two charges that are formed together into the stringer. During fabrication, the charges are placed over support members with the ends of each charge extending over a die cavity. The charges are secured and a punch die forces the first ends into the die cavity forming blades of the stringer. The charges are secured thus tensioning the charges during the punch process.Type: GrantFiled: April 26, 2018Date of Patent: October 5, 2021Assignee: THE BOEING COMPANYInventors: Brad Andrew Coxon, Daniel Rotter
