  • Publication number: 20240070637
Abstract: A computing device retrieves a stabilized weight and a weight-based item count for one or more items to be purchased. Responsive to retrieving the stabilized weight, the computing device retrieves an image-based item count and an expected weight based on the image-based item count for the one or more items to be purchased. The computing device selects between authorizing and blocking checkout of the one or more items based on the weight-based item count, the image-based item count, the stabilized weight, and the expected weight.

  • Patent number: 11339910
Abstract: An apparatus for shrouding the coated field joint area of connected line pipe segments, the shroud having first and second housing halves which have end walls which cooperate to form registering openings matching the diameter of the pipe to be shrouded, the housing halves forming a chamber. The housing can be of a clamshell design, being hinged on one side and having hasps, latches or the like on the other side to keep the shroud positioned once it is placed around the coated field joint area of a pipeline. An environment monitor is disposed in the chamber to measure conditions such as relative humidity and temperature.

  • Publication number: 20150266645
Abstract: Re-sealable lid films and labels include cut patterns of different dimension in upper and lower material layers, whereby when an upper layer of material is peeled back, a bottom layer portion is exposed. Exposure of the bottom layer portion advantageously exposes printed indicia viewable on or through the bottom layer portion.

  • Patent number: 6939158
Abstract: A method and apparatus for improving the co-planarity between conductive structures exposed in an interface connector for a portable electronic device. The interface connector includes an elongate housing having a front surface and a bottom surface. The front surface is configured to be at least partially exposed at a peripheral portion of the portable electronic device. The front surface defines port openings in the elongate housing and the bottom surface defines plate openings therein. The plate openings are configured to receive and retain conductive structures and are configured to be at least partially exposed at the bottom surface of the elongate housing and at least partially exposed at the port openings to provide electrical interconnection to the portable electronic device. With this arrangement, the conductive structures in the interface connector are substantially co-planar with each other to provide improved and more reliable electrical interconnection with the portable electronic device.

  • Publication number: 20030009437
Abstract: A computer program and method are disclosed for matching a potential positionee and potential positionor. The potential positionee is provided with a positionee information entry interface for entering positionee information comprising the potential positionee's actual qualifications. The positionee information is stored in a database. Matching is accomplished by providing the potential positionor with a positionor information entry interface for electronically entering positionor information comprising at least one target qualification for a position, the positionor information being stored in the database. Matching is based on determining whether the positionee information correlates with the positionor information. A correlated information list is created. The correlated information is presented for review. Code sections of the computer program preferably accomplish these and other tasks.
