    Abstract: An assembly includes a reinforcement bar and a plurality of bar chair attached at spaced locations thereto. The bar chairs have an upper concave seat portion, and pairs of legs. The legs are spot welded to the reinforcement bar at locations, and at a height ‘h’ for the prescribed concrete cover for the reinforcement bar. The legs are located on opposing or alternating sides of the reinforcement bar to evenly distribute the construction loads onto the chair legs. As the reinforcement bar is attached to the legs of the wire form, the concave seat portion is oriented to support a reinforcement bar oriented at 90° to the reinforcement bar.
