  • Publication number: 20220400646
Abstract: A ventilation control system for an animal facility. The ventilation control system has a movable ventilation control member mounted in an opening of the animal facility, the ventilation control member being movable relative the opening to control the amount of air that is able to pass through the opening. The ventilation control system also has a positioning strap attached to the ventilation control member, the strap having a strap thickness. A strap drive control apparatus is configured to control the positioning of the ventilation control member at a constant control member speed.

  • Patent number: 10986810
Abstract: A bin monitoring system is useable with an elevated feed bin having a plurality of legs that support the bin above a pad so that each leg is connected to the pad through a load cell. The system includes an inner leg mount configured to be attached to a leg, the inner leg mount having an upper portion, and an outer bracket mounted on the load cell. The outer bracket receives the inner leg mount such that a bolt aperture in the outer bracket aligns with a bolt aperture in the upper portion of the inner leg mount and is secured with a threaded bolt. Rotation of the threaded bolt moves the inner leg mount toward the outer bracket to lift the leg so that the leg is supported by the load cell.

  • Patent number: 5267619
Abstract: A disk harrow assembly comprising a frame with an elongated beam and having an elongated shaft arranged generally parallel to and below the beam with a plurality of laterally spaced disks mounted on the shaft of rotation therewith. At least two laterally spaced bearing standards resiliently connecting the shaft to the beam. Each bearing standard includes a spring whose first extremity is secured to the beam, a curved central portion for positioning a free ended second extremity of the spring in spaced relation beneath the first extremity and a bearing assembly carried toward the free ended extremity of the spring for rotatably supporting the shaft. The bearing assembly is mounted toward the second end of the spring for rocking movement about an axis disposed in an acute angle relative to the horizontal direction of movement of the harrow assembly.

  • Patent number: 4712622
Abstract: A self-leveling agricultural implement is disclosed which has been particularly configured for maintaining the frame of the implement in a level disposition as it is raised and lowered by relative movement of its hydraulically-operated supporting wheels. The construction includes a pivotal draft hitch at a forward end of the implement frame, and a leveling linkage which operatively connects the draft hitch with a rockshaft of the implement which is operatively connected with its hydraulic actuators. Thus, as the actuators operate to relatively raise and lower the implement wheels, attendant rotation of the rockshaft acts to pivot the draft hitch relative to the frame, whereby the level disposition of the frame is maintained. The construction desirably includes an adjustable link which operatively connects the pivotal draft hitch with the leveling linkage, whereby the implement is readily adjustable for use with different tractors having differing drawbar heights.

  • Patent number: 4660842
Abstract: An elevation control mechanism is provided for an agricultural implement. A first lever is pivotally mounted to the implement frame about a pivot axis for oscillation relative to the frame. The first lever carries a ground engaging wheel. A second lever is pivotally mounted to the frame about a pivot axis for oscillation relative to the frame. An extendable and retractable pressure fluid actuator is pivotally connected between the first and second levers for effecting relative movement between the levers to raise and lower the frame relative to the ground. An adjusting arrangement is carried by the frame and connected to the second lever for pivoting the second lever to a selected orientation relative to the frame so as to locate the actuator at a selected position relative to the frame.
