  • Patent number: 11438393
Abstract: An address rotation system detects a trigger to initiate rotation of location information of an origin server that provides content to be served by a content delivery service. In response to the trigger, the address rotation system identifies an active networking route of the content delivery service and obtains, from the route, an assigned first name of the origin server and a first network address in a name service. The address rotation system replaces the first network address with a second network address and updates the name service to resolve a second name to the second network address. The address rotation system updates the content delivery service with the second name to allow the content delivery service to use the second name to obtain the second network address and access the origin server.

  • Publication number: 20220261266
Abstract: SR-IOV (single root IO virtualization) capable PCIe devices can implement virtual functions (VFs) that are assigned to VMs running on a host machine, thereby speeding IO operation by writing directly to the VMs' memory while bypassing the hypervisor managing the VMs. As such, VFs thwart the dirty page tracking that hypervisors use to minimize VM downtime when the VM is migrated between hosts. The SR-IOV PCIe devices can help resolve this problem by maintaining dirty page tracking data for VMs running on the host machine. The SR-IOV PCIe devices bypassing the hypervisor while writing into a memory page of the VM can set the dirty page tracking data to indicate the memory pages that are dirty (i.e., written to by the VF), and can provide access to the dirty page tracking data. The hypervisor can thereby obtain and use the dirty page tracking data.

  • Patent number: 11358089
Abstract: A filter that is retained in a shell housing by the use of a snap connection. The filter includes an endplate having snap features that interact with a groove in an inner portion of the shell housing. The groove may extend 360 degrees around an inner circumference of the shell housing. Accordingly, when the shell is unthreaded from the head service (e.g., during a filter replacement service), the shell only needs to be displaced the length of the inner radial seal interface between the shell and the head, not the entire length of the filter media thereby minimizing the stroke length needed to service the filter assembly.

  • Publication number: 20220180592
Abstract: Systems and methods for collaborative augmented reality measurement of an object using computing devices are provided. The system establishes an audio and video (A/V) connection between a mobile device of a first user and a remote device of a second user such that the second user can view and edit an augmented reality scene displayed on a display of the mobile device. The system receives a measurement tool selection from the first user or the second user to measure an object and/or feature present in the augmented reality scene. The system detects a plane of the augmented reality scene as a reference to position and capture points to execute a measurement of the object and/or feature. The system determines a measurement of the object and/or feature and transmits the measurement to a server.

  • Patent number: 11338231
Abstract: A gas-liquid separator includes a housing. The housing includes an inlet structured to receive a blowby gas stream from a crankcase. a cleaned air outlet, and a liquid outlet. A cover is disposed downstream from the inlet and upstream from the liquid outlet. The cover includes a baffle disposed over the blowby gas stream flow path from the inlet. The blowby gas stream impacts the baffle and separates liquid and aerosol contained in the blowby gas stream. A flange extends substantially axially downward from a side of the baffle. The flange is tapered substantially axially downward forming an inner surface. The inner surface is structured to route the separated liquid toward the liquid outlet. The inner surface biases separated liquid away from shedding toward the cleaned air outlet.

  • Publication number: 20220086170
Abstract: Systems and methods described herein provide for assigning classifications to signals and corresponding messages for prioritization and transmission across a vehicle CAN bus. The assigned classifications are used to select authentication keys specific to each classification of message. Nodes of the CAN bus can include different sets of keys based on the classifications of messages handled at the nodes. Keys are distributed and localized to reduce any potential impact on critical functions of the vehicle system that may result from compromise of an authentication key.

  • Patent number: 11238886
Abstract: A service for automatically generating video representations of audio content is provided. A video representation generation component receives a request with search criteria related to processing audio content to generate video representations of the content. The video representation generation component then identifies one or more audio clips or segments from the audio content responsive to the search criteria. The video representation generation component can then generate or obtain video representations of the audio clips without requiring a generation of representations of the full audio content. The processing result can be utilized used to publish to social media sites or electronic communications as video content.
