Abstract: A bezel lock system for use with an information handling system including one or more components disposed in a server chassis mounted in a bay of a rack system is disclosed. The bezel lock system may include a rack ear associated with the server chassis, a slam latch, a bezel, and a rotating lock. The slam latch may be disposed at least in part within the rack ear and configured to automatically engage the rack ear with the rack system as the server chassis slides into the rack bay. The rack ear may only be disengaged from the rack system if the slam latch is released. The bezel may be configured to attach to the front of the server chassis and prevent removal of any components through the front panel of the server chassis. The rotating lock may be associated with the bezel and restrict removal of the bezel from the server chassis while in the locked position. The lock may be further configured to restrict release of the slam latch while in the locked position.

Abstract: A gesture operation input system includes one or more subsystems to receive an input indicating a modifier input, receive a gesture input, wherein the gesture input indicates an action to be performed, and receive an indication that the modifier input is no longer being received. After receiving the gesture input, the gesture operation input system then determines the action to be performed using the gesture input and performs the action.

Abstract: A settings adjustment system includes a settings adjustment engine. A key is coupled to the settings adjustment engine. The settings adjustment engine is operable to detect a user selection of the key. A touchpad is coupled to the settings adjustment engine. In response to detecting the user selection of the key, the settings adjustment engine is operable to detect a user gesture on the touchpad, determine a settings adjustment from that user gesture, and change a setting according to the settings adjustment.

Abstract: An end user work space mounting system for use with a computer cabinet. The end user work space may include a computer terminal or shelf, drawer or platform. The height of the workspace is adjustable in the vertical direction. In the case of a computer terminal, the viewing angle of the monitor, i.e., with respect to rack and the keyboard, is also adjustable. The keyboard, monitor, and bracket fold into the same plane, so that the keyboard, monitor, and bracket can fold into the rack when not in use.
