An alert is automatically provided to the user if available realty is within the defined triggering location region. In another embodiment, if available realty within the triggering location region meets the user's preferred criteria, information about the available realty may be automatically provided to the user.

Preferred criteria may be selected by the user, for example, or a third party, and provide objective or subjective information that the user is seeking in a location. Embodiments may include compiling objective information with the location and comparing the objective information to preferred criteria. A user's profile may be compared to another person's profile, where the other person's profile is associated to the location. A location may be recommended to the user if the objective information correlates to the preferred criteria and if the other person's profile correlates to the user's profile. Subjective information associated with the location may be provided to the user along with the recommended location. Furthermore, a location may be recommended to the user if the subjective information correlates to the preferred criteria.

Transaction information may be communicated from the POS device to the mobile device and an authorization from the purchaser to proceed with the transaction returned to the POS device from the mobile device. After authorization, the POS device may communicate the transaction information together with an identifier of the mobile device to a financial institution to process payment. The financial institution may confirm the transaction with the purchaser at the mobile device using the identifier of the mobile device. Upon receiving a confirmation response from the mobile device, the financial institution may then transfer funds from a purchaser account to a merchant account.

Abstract: A system and method provide determining a risk of a natural hazard associated with a piece of real property and identifying mitigatable items located around the property by collecting local data using at least one sensor. The local data includes information related to risk factors associated with the property. In an embodiment, the local data is collected using a mobile computing device that includes at least one sensor and a mobile application. External data may be also combined with the local data for further analysis to identify mitigatable items. After identifying mitigatable items around the property, the mitigatable items can be modified or removed to reduce the risk of a natural hazard associated with the property. The systems and methods further include computing, using a data processor, an insurance premium of an insurance policy using a computed risk level of a natural hazard associated with the property.

In another embodiment, a virtual reality game for simulating a wildfire behavior is provided.
