Abstract: The invention provides a farm from a box system and at least one container that includes all components and tools required to assist communities in being able to conduct agricultural activities in order to provide sufficient food for or for other off-grid localized food production, e.g., for schools, correctional facilities, etc. The at least one container is provided in a compact form for shipping to locations where needed and provides the necessary tools, agricultural supplies, power and irrigation to facilitate growth of sustainable crops. The invention also provides a method of use of the systems and containers described herein for assisting people in farming activities conducted outside of the containers, thus enabling the system owner to successfully and efficiently conduct organic and small scale farming.
