  • Patent number: 11590999
Abstract: The invention relates to a heatable touch sensor and a steering wheel. It has an optical waveguide which is connected to an electrical heat conductor. The optical waveguide changes its transmission behavior, which is determined, with a change in position or bending. The heat conductor is a resistance heater which emits heat by applying an electrical voltage and by the associated current flow. The touch sensor operates by means of optical interferometry, which enables a very high sensing accuracy.

  • Patent number: 10683027
Abstract: A method for producing a covered steering wheel for a vehicle. A steering wheel skeleton is overmolded with a matrix material. A covering material is coated on its non-visible side with an activatable material. The coated covering material is applied to the overmolded steering wheel skeleton so that its non-visible side faces the overmolded steering wheel skeleton. Longitudinal edges of the covering material are joined together. The activatable material is activated with creation of an integral connection between the covering material and the matrix material.

  • Patent number: 10312019
Abstract: A method for producing a permanent magnet, comprising the step: (a) providing a powder of a magnetic material, (b) coating the powder particles with a coating of a diamagnetic or paramagnetic coating material, (c) compressing the coated particles to form a pressed part, (d) heat treatment to sinter the coating material at a temperature less than a temperature suitable for sintering the magnetic material, while the coating material transfers to a matrix of a diamagnetic or paramagnetic material, which embeds the particles of the magnetic material, and (e) magnetizing the magnetizable material in an external magnetic field, wherein the steps (c), (d) and (e) are carried out in any order successively or at the same time in any desired combination.

  • Publication number: 20130101456
Abstract: The invention pertains to a method for producing molded articles based on aluminum alloys by metal injection molding, comprising the following steps: a) producing a feed-stock by mixing the metals contained in the desired alloy in the form of metal powders and/or one or more metal alloy powders with a binder; b) producing a green body by injection molding said feedstock; c) producing a brown body by at least partially removing the binder from the green body by catalytic and/or solvent and/or thermal debinding; d) sintering the at least partially debound brown body to obtain the desired molded article; characterized in that, in step c), the binder is completely removed, wherein thermal debinding is carried out to remove the (residual) binder, optionally after having carried out one or more previous debinding steps, said thermal debinding being carried out in an atmosphere containing at least 0.5% by volume of oxygen, whereafter the thus obtained, completely debound brown body is sintered.
