The present techniques and system configurations address these complexities by providing functionality in search and information user interfaces, which enable a user to search, filter, and identify the delivery and installation availability for a listing of products. The present techniques and system configurations may calculate and cache the availability dates for service fulfillment of respective products. The present techniques and system configurations enable a user to request and receive a listing of the earliest available products for delivery and installation based on the cached availability dates for service fulfillment of respective products.

An indication of a selection of a transit time is received. The indication includes the item, a quantity of the item, and a destination. A preferred fulfillment location of a subset of fulfillment locations is calculated, the calculating using the transit time, the location, and a selection rule, wherein the selection rule is generated using a plurality of selection attributes.
