  • Patent number: 10151417
Abstract: A pipe lagging system for acoustically insulating a drain piping system includes at least one drain pipe and drain pipe connector coupled to the drain pipe. The pipe lagging system includes at least one preformed acoustic lagging sleeve adapted to be put over the drain pipe of the piping system for acoustical insulation, at least one preformed acoustic clamshell jacket adapted to fit over the drain pipe connector of the piping system for acoustically insulating the pipe connector. The clamshell jacket is adapted to receive an end portion of the tubular sleeve put over the drain pipe. At least one mechanical fastener is adapted to mechanically secure the clamshell jacket and the received tubular sleeve to the underlying drain pipe. At least one of the at least one tubular sleeve and clamshell jacket includes a sound-insulating foam material.

  • Publication number: 20180010332
Abstract: The present invention relates to an acoustical and thermal decoupling system (10) in a form of a polymer tape that includes a closed-cell foam layer (12) having a front side and a reverse side, a pressure sensitive adhesive (14) coated on the reverse side of the closed-cell foam layer (12), and a release liner (16) covering the pressure sensitive adhesive (14) on the reverse side of the closed-cell foam layer (12). The acoustical and thermal decoupling system (10) may be installed directly to a structural member of a building by removing the release liner (16) from the reverse side of the closed-cell foam layer (12) and pressing the reverse side of the closed-cell foam layer (12) against the structural member, allowing the pressure sensitive adhesive (14) to bond the closed-cell foam layer (12) directly to the structural member.

  • Patent number: 4798444
Abstract: A solar collection device used to maximize solar collection by a plurality of fixed collectors that concentrate all available sunlight on its surface into a single transfer conduit. The device uses fiber optics in pre-arranged and fixed arrays that will track the inclination of the suns rays without moving by using a single directional convergent lens.
