  • Publication number: 20230111571
Abstract: Embodiments described herein are generally directed facilitating out-of-order execution of GPU texture sampler operations. An embodiment of a method includes a texture sampler of a GPU maintaining (i) a latency queue operable to store information regarding a set of transactions associated with each of multiple texture sampler operations and (ii) multiple virtual channel (VC) queues each operable to store information regarding transactions for a respective single texture sampler operation at a time. Out-of-order processing of the texture sampler operations is facilitated by making use of the latency queue and the VC queues. For example, during a transaction processing interval, the availability of data in a cache for the transactions associated with each of the VC queues may be determined. A VC queue may be selected based on the determined availability of data. A transaction associated with a head of the selected VC queue may then be processed.

  • Patent number: 11312460
Abstract: A method of controlling a plurality of marine drives on a multi-hull marine vessel includes determining, based on steering information, that the multi-hull marine vessel is entering a turn and then receiving a running trim position for each marine drive. A trim position of at least a portion of the plurality of marine drives is then adjusted from each respective running trim position so as to induce roll of the multi-hull marine vessel during the turn.

  • Patent number: 10239599
Abstract: A stern drive arrangement is for propelling a marine vessel in water. A diverter valve is movable into and between an open position in which the exhaust gas is allowed to flow through the above-water outlet via the secondary exhaust conduit and a closed position in which the exhaust gas is at least partially prevented from flowing through an above-water outlet via a secondary exhaust conduit. Via a bypass conduit, the exhaust gas in the secondary exhaust conduit can bypass the diverter valve and discharge to atmosphere when the diverter valve is in the closed position.

  • Patent number: 7169528
Abstract: A process for the preparation of colored polymeric toner particles includes: forming an organic phase by dissolving an organic polymer and, optionally, one or more additives in a water-immiscible organic solvent; forming a dispersion by combining the organic phase with an aqueous phase comprising a particulate stabilizer, a colorant, and, optionally, a promoter, with the proviso that when the colorant is carbon black, it is an acidic carbon black having a pH less than 7; homogenizing the dispersion to form droplets containing the organic solvent, organic polymer, and colorant; removing the organic solvent from the droplets to form colored polymeric toner particles; and separating and drying the toner particles.

  • Patent number: 6343966
Abstract: A marine propulsion system is provided with an electric motor that drives a water pump. This arrangement allows an engine control unit to selectively change the speed of the electric motor and the water pump to suit operating conditions of the engine. Rather than driving the water pump directly from an output shaft of the internal combustion engine, it is driven by the electric motor which responds to signals provided by the engine control unit. These signals are preferably pulsed width modulated signals in which the duty cycle is changed to affect a change in the operating speed of the motor.

  • Patent number: 6322404
Abstract: A Hall effect rotational position sensor is mounted on a pivotable member of a marine propulsion system and a rotatable portion of the rotational position sensor is attached to a drive structure of the marine propulsion system. Relative movement between the pivotable member, such as a gimbal ring, and the drive structure, such as the outboard drive portion of the marine propulsion system, cause relative movement between the rotatable and stationary portions of the rotational position sensor. As a result, signals can be provided which are representative of the angular position between the drive structure and the pivotable member.

  • Patent number: 6302046
Abstract: A steering sensor system is provided for a marine vessel in which a rotational position sensor is attached to a guide member that rotates about the central axis of the rotor of the rotational position sensor. A pin is attached to a moveable portion of the steering actuator and slidably disposed within a slot formed in the guide member. The pin is slidably within the slot as the moveable portion of the steering actuator moves along an acuate path that does not have the same center of rotation as the rotation of the rotatable portion of the rotational position sensor. The sliding of the pin within the slot of the guide member accommodates these different radii of curvature.

  • Patent number: 6020128
Abstract: The nucleic acid sequence encoding the gene for the DNA polymerase I enzyme of Treponema pallidum, the organism causing syphilis. Nucleic acid molecules useful as probes for detecting Treponema pallidum are described. Isolated, recombinant, and synthetic DNA polymerase I enzyme of Treponema pallidum, and the amino acid sequence of the enzyme, are also described. Antibodies to DNA polymerase I from Treponema pallidum are further provided. The nucleic acid molecules are useful in methods for the detection and diagnosis of Treponema pallidum infection in a sample or subject.

  • Patent number: 5933899
Abstract: A pool cleaner operating with a pool cleaning system which is not equipped with a booster pump. The apparatus may comprise a frame having a forward end and a rearward end with a water inlet mounted on the frame and receiving a supply of water having a volume per unit time. The inlet may comprise a supply mast having a number of openings for supplying water to the various components of the cleaner. The frame is carried on a plurality of transport wheels mounted on the frame. The apparatus further includes a vacuum system including a collection bag positioned on a suction mast having water injection ports positioned such that at least one opening in the water injection port injects water into the collection bag to create suction and draw debris into the bag. A drive system is provided to move the apparatus around the pool. The drive system includes a turbine having a plurality of vanes rotating and mounted in a turbine housing.
