Publication number: 20240077282Abstract: An anti-cant indicator assembly, components thereof, and associated methods. The anti-cant indicator assembly indicates the orientation of a weapon with respect to vertical. The anti-cant indicator assembly includes a mount configured to mount to the weapon, a level including a vial containing a bubble and a pivot connection connecting the level to the mount. The pivot connection is configured to permit movement of the level with respect to the mount about the pivot connection between an operational position in which the bubble can be referenced by the user for indicating orientation of the weapon with respect to vertical, and a stowed position different from the operational position. The pivot connection can include a retainer configured to releasably retain the level in at least one of the operational position or the stowed position. The level can be selectively movable with respect to the mount to calibrate the anti-cant indicator.Type: ApplicationFiled: November 10, 2023Publication date: March 7, 2024Applicant: AOB Products CompanyInventors: Mike Lindsay, Michael Cottrell, James Tayon, Timothy S. Publication number: 20220341461Abstract: In some implementations, a retention apparatus for retaining a rod in a cylinder rod may include a first retention component and a second retention component. The first retention component may be configured to retain the rod in the cylinder rod. The first retention component may comprise a first surface and a second surface. The portion, of the first surface, may be a threaded surface and may be adjacent to the second surface. The portion may be configured to be threaded onto the cylinder rod to cause the second surface to retain the second retention component in the cylinder rod and to cause the second retention component to engage the rod. The second retention component may be configured to engage the rod.Type: ApplicationFiled: April 23, 2021Publication date: October 27, 2022Applicant: Caterpillar Inc.Inventors: Gabriel J. ELLICOTT, Matthew Wayne WALSH, Brett BURKE, Jeffory Troy CURRY

Patent number: 11332205Abstract: A trailer having a hitch assembly, a deck assembly, an axle assembly and a structural joint positioned between the deck assembly and the axle assembly is provided. The deck assembly having a first support beams and a second support beams supporting decking. The first support beam and the second support beam can have a positive camber. At least one shim plate can be rotatable between a joint position, wherein the at least one shim plate is positioned in the structural joint, and a storage position, wherein the at least one shim plate is rotated out of the structural joint to adjust the amount of camber in the support beams.Type: GrantFiled: December 18, 2019Date of Patent: May 17, 2022Assignee: Brandt Industries Inc.Inventors: Hyunjin Hwang, Brett Burke, Raymond Strelic

Patent number: 11332207Abstract: A booster for a trailer system is provided comprising a control system in communication with a sensor(s) for determining the direction and speed of the booster when in motion. The control system comprises instructions corresponding to one or more booster operations such as: detection of a reverse state, retraction of a suspension system when the reverse state is detected; engagement of a steer axle lock when the reverse state is detected; detection of a forward state; extension of the suspension system when the forward state is detected; disengagement of the steer axle lock when the forward state is detected; detection of a high-speed forward state; engagement of the steer axle lock when the high-speed forward state is detected; detection of a low-speed forward state; and disengagement of the steer axle lock when the low-speed forward state is detected.Type: GrantFiled: March 31, 2020Date of Patent: May 17, 2022Assignee: Brandt Industries Inc.Inventors: Raymond Strelic, Brett Burke, Anneke Snow

Patent number: 11267309Abstract: A suspension system is provided comprising at least one ride height valve, when engaged, that allows an air flow to engage a hydraulic control valve such that it initiates either extension or retraction of a hydraulic piston from a cylinder. Extension or retraction of the hydraulic piston causes a booster frame to be bias downwardly or upwardly, respectively. The ride height valve is engaged when a booster axle is at a predetermined distance from the frame.Type: GrantFiled: January 7, 2020Date of Patent: March 8, 2022Assignee: Brandt Industries Inc.Inventors: Raymond Strelic, Brett Burke, Anneke Snow
