  • Patent number: 11821431
Abstract: An electrical submersible pump has a stack of diffusers within the housing, each of the diffusers having a conical upper shoulder and a conical lower shoulder. The lower shoulder of each of the diffusers is in abutment with the upper shoulder of an adjacent one of the diffusers. The upper and lower shoulders of each of the diffusers slope downward and outward relative to the axis. Impeller hubs have conical upper and lower ends. At least some of the upper ends of the hubs abut and transfer up thrust to the lower end of an adjacent one of the hubs. At least some of the lower ends of the hubs abut and transfer down thrust to the upper end of an adjacent one of the hubs.

  • Publication number: 20190368511
Abstract: A well pump has a shaft with at least one shaft drive flank extending a length of the shaft. Impellers are located between non-rotating diffusers. Each impeller has a hub with an impeller hub bore through which the shaft extends. The impeller hub bore has at least one impeller drive flank that is in flush contact with the shaft drive flank to impart rotation to the impeller. The shaft drive flanks may be on opposite sides of the shaft and parallel with each other. The shaft may have six of the shaft drive flanks symmetrically arranged around the shaft and joining each other. The shaft drive flanks may be three involute curved surfaces that join each other.

  • Patent number: 8594331
Abstract: A method and system for dynamically changing password keys in a secured wireless communication system includes initiating a password key change, generating a new password key, embedding the new password key and a password key indicator in a first message, encrypting the first message using an old password key, storing the new password key, sending the formatted encrypted first message over a wireless communication system, receiving a subsequent second message, and decrypting the subsequent second message using the new password key.
