The container apparatus can include a housing and a cushioning member positioned within the interior of the housing. The housing can include first and second complementary sections that are releasably attached to each other by a plurality of complementary attachment members. The cushioning member can be made of a shock absorbing material and a bottle can be positioned within a cylindrical cavity formed in the cushioning member, which provides a barrier between the bottle and the housing that can absorb force from an impact to the housing thereby protecting the bottle from damage.
