Abstract: This disclosure presents a connector assembly for providing a waterproof connection to a case for an electronic device. The connector assembly includes a connector body, an electrical cable, and an electrical conductor. The electrical conductor is electrically connected to the electrical cable and electrically engages the installed electronic device to convey at least one of data and power between the installed electronic device and the electrical cable. The connector assembly also includes an outer sleeve configured to freely rotate around the connector body and further configured to removably connect the connector assembly to the case. The outer sleeve includes a securing region to removably secure the connector assembly to the case, an inner gasket to seal an inner sealing interface of the outer sleeve with the connector body, and an outer gasket positioned to seal an outer sealing interface of the outer sleeve with the case.

The sidewall has two arcuately formed longitudinal recesses, an annular rib, an annular shoulder located between the longitudinal recesses and the base, and a lower portion extending between the annular shoulder and the base. The annular shoulder is characterized by two arched portions aligned with the longitudinal recesses, and the lower portion has two beveled portions aligned with the longitudinal recesses. This container is more ergonomic, and has greater sidewall strength and rigidity, than existing containers.

Abstract: A disposable plate for carrying and serving food is disclosed. One particular aspect of the invention includes a plate with a substantially circular food-contact area with a substantially oval rim periphery. The rim is formed to make the plate easy to hold, with grooves adapted to accommodate fingers and/or thumbs. The present invention may be designed to segment the food storage areas of the plate into multiple compartments by using a divider wall. Also, the food-contact area can be slightly domed to force food to shift to the outer portion of the food-contact area and inhibit the food from slipping to the middle of the plate, thus keeping the plate center from sagging.
