  • Publication number: 20220129876
Abstract: Disclosed herein are system, method, and computer program product embodiments for a cloud-based point-of-sale system and a multi-function point-of-sale (POS) device. In an embodiment, the POS device includes an interactive display that switches between a first position oriented towards and for use by an operating clerk, and a second position oriented towards and for use by a customer. The POS device is able to detect the switch between the first position and the second position. A processor in the POS device outputs a first graphical user interface (GUI) on the interactive display in response to detection of the first position and a second GUI in response to detection of the second position. In an embodiment, the components of the POS device are combined together in a unified assembly.

  • Patent number: 9160210
Abstract: Rotary encoders for use with trolling motors are disclosed. An example rotary encoder includes a housing defining an aperture and a linear guide and an input sleeve to extend through the aperture. The input sleeve includes an exterior guide to be engaged and followed by a shuttle to enable rotary position information to be obtained from the input sleeve. The shuttle is movably coupled within the linear guide. The shuttle is biased to engage a central portion of the exterior guide if rotation of the input sleeve moves the shuttle past first or second ends of the groove to prevent the rotary encoder from being damaged by over-rotation of the input sleeve.

  • Patent number: 5964065
Abstract: Advanced vehicle-transportable field emergency medical systems comprising surgical suites deployable from core modules, each expanding to form an enclosed surgical or treatment room with perimeter tenting spaces, supplies and equipment. Two system versions are disclosed, each containing operating rooms, post operative beds, and a twenty plus bed triage capacity with unidirectional patient flow. The first surgical procedure can begin within one hour of delivery with a twenty patient cycle for twenty four hours. The surgical/treatment modules may also be deployed independently. Both system versions are transportable in a single C130 transport aircraft. Version AZ1 has smaller modules deployable by utility helicopter that include two operating suites, two post operative units, and also supply/communications and power units. Version AZ2 includes two modules each forming a combined surgical/post-operative unit, and also supply/communications and power units.
