  • Publication number: 20240157148
Abstract: A system for selecting a sensitivity level for adjusting an intensity setting for therapy provided to a patient includes one or more processors and one or more processors coupled to the memory. The one or more processors are configured to receive an indication of an input to adjust an intensity setting related to the therapy provided to the patient and determine a sensitivity level for adjustment of the intensity setting based on an efficacy of the therapy provided to the patient. The one or more processors are further configured to determine an updated intensity level for the intensity setting based on the sensitivity level and the input to adjust the intensity setting and output an instruction to cause a medical device to provide the therapy at the updated intensity level.

  • Publication number: 20240155665
Abstract: Techniques for delegated peer-to-peer scheduling are provided. A first peer-to-peer device determines one or more wireless channels allocated for peer-to-peer communication, and receives a request indicating a set of transmission characteristics from a second peer-to-peer device that uses the first peer-to-peer device as a communications proxy. The first peer-to-peer device schedules wireless resources of the one or more wireless channels to a plurality of peer-to-peer devices based at least in part on the set of transmission characteristics, and performs peer-to-peer communications with the second peer-to-peer device in accordance with the scheduled wireless resources.

  • Publication number: 20240151895
Abstract: A variety of illumination devices are disclosed that are configured to manipulate light provided by one or more light-emitting elements (LEEs). In general, embodiments of the illumination devices feature one or more optical couplers that redirect illumination from the LEEs to a reflector which then directs the light into a range of angles. In some embodiments, the illumination device includes a second reflector that reflects at least some of the light from the first reflector. In certain embodiments, the illumination device includes a light guide that guides light from the collector to the first reflector. The components of the illumination device can be configured to provide illumination devices that can provide a variety of intensity distributions. Such illumination devices can be configured to provide light for particular lighting applications, including office lighting, task lighting, cabinet lighting, garage lighting, wall wash, stack lighting, and downlighting.

  • Publication number: 20240155710
Abstract: Techniques for improved peer-to-peer communication are provided. A set connectivity metrics among a set of wireless devices on a plurality of wireless channels in a wireless network is collected, and a wireless channel of the plurality of wireless channels is identified, based on the set of connectivity metrics, to use for peer-to-peer communication. A request is received, from a peer-to-peer device, for peer-to-peer communications, and the wireless channel is indicated to the peer-to-peer device, where the peer-to-peer device uses the first wireless channel for peer-to-peer communications in response to the indication.

  • Patent number: 11963691
Abstract: A surgical instrument, has an end effector that includes an ultrasonic blade, and a clamp arm that moves relative to the ultrasonic blade from an opened position toward an intermediate position and a closed position. The clamp arm is offset from the ultrasonic blade to define a predetermined gap in the intermediate position between the opened position and the closed position. A clamp arm actuator connects to the clamp arm and moves from an opened configuration to a closed configuration to direct the clamp arm from the opened position toward the intermediate position and the closed position. A spacer connects with the clamp arm to inhibit movement of the clamp arm from the intermediate position toward the closed position for maintaining the predetermined gap between the clamp arm and the ultrasonic blade.

  • Patent number: 10657809
Abstract: The present disclosure provides an automatically updating vehicle classification system and method. The system comprises a processor which extracts from a vehicle image at least one of: a unique vehicle identifier from the vehicle image and visual features of the vehicle in the vehicle image. If the visual features are below a probability threshold for matching a vehicle class in a local database, the processor looks up the unique vehicle identifier in a registration database. The registration database stores vehicle registration information including unique vehicle identifiers and associated vehicle class information. If the vehicle class information associated with the vehicle identifier is not a class recognized by the processor, the processor creates a new vehicle class associated with the visual features of the vehicle.
