Abstract: Targeted electronic advertising media may be provided to users of user devices that access and seek data resources on the Internet through encrypted data streams across a telecommunication network. When an encrypted data stream is received at a cellular telecommunication network server from a user device resident application requesting access to a data resource on the Internet, a user profile token is created for the user device that at least includes the user device identification data to access the cellular telecommunication network. The user profile token may be provided to one or more advertising servers along with data indicative of the requested Internet data resource to enable an advertising server to identify of the user and send targeted advertising media to the requesting user device.

Abstract: Techniques described herein relate to generating personalized quality of service (QoS) comparison of wireless services. A user device may obtain first service data from a first wireless service using a user account and obtain second service data corresponding to the first service data from a second wireless service. The user has a benefit of a user account access to the first wireless service, and does not have a benefit of a user account access to the second wireless service. The user device may then generate a comparison between the first wireless service and the second wireless service based on the first service data and the second service data.

For example, when the icon represents data available from a Really Simple Syndication (RSS) feed, the icon may be represented as an image extracted from the RSS feed, which may change when the RSS feed is updated or includes new content. In some embodiments, the icon may by dynamically updated based on user information and/or device information, such as an icon for a weather forecast that is based at least in part on a location of a device and thus directs the icon to show imagery and/or information based at least in part on the respective location.
