  • Publication number: 20230104633
Abstract: Systems and methods are disclosed herein to generate unique high entropy deterministic authentication tokens or passwords derived from user account information and a high entropy random number secured on a user device. Systems and methods can further include a counting variable such as a nonce to generate more than one unique high entropy deterministic authentication token for a single account, for instance, to facilitate updating the authentication token for that account to a new unique authentication token. From the user perspective, systems and methods can be used to provide an authentication token manager and/or password manager, where the user is able to access user accounts via a single user-provided authentication such as a master password or biometric data. Because the tokens/passwords are generated deterministically, they need not be stored by the token/password manager.

  • Publication number: 20220327484
Abstract: A System and Method for monitoring risk reduction activities in one or more medical practice settings and environments is described. The system automatically monitors communications and electronic medical records to determine a risk metric indicating compliance with responding to a critical test result by acknowledging it or otherwise acting upon the message.

  • Publication number: 20140108026
Abstract: The invention is designed to prevent mis-administrations of radiation in therapy sessions. Because of the complexity of machine configurations and settings required for every radiation therapy protocol, the invention is also designed to confirm that the settings of radiation oncology treatment systems and devices accurately reflect the dose protocol as determined by the radiation oncologists. In the event of a discrepancy, the system is designed to prevent the operator from starting the treatment session.

  • Publication number: 20120158423
Abstract: The system and method checks patient data stored in a database to determine the number of breast mammography recalls that are outstanding and the volume of cases that a practice undertakes. That data is used to calculate an index which provides an indication of malpractice risk. The method further involves monitoring that index continually in order to determine if a radiology practice is outside the norm relative to other practices and to issue an alert if so.

  • Publication number: 20110257997
Abstract: A System and Method for monitoring risk reduction activities in one or more medical practice settings and environments is described. The system automatically monitors communications and equipment to verify proper clinical treatment processes and activities that reduce the risk of poor clinical outcomes or increased risk to health. The system can also automatically monitor out-patient activities. Clinical activities are monitored and various rules and risk reduction metrics calculated from the data. Real-time monitoring further permits alarms to be triggered if certain clinical steps considered proper are not followed in a particular case.

  • Publication number: 20100088232
Abstract: A system and method for verification monitoring of a critical test result management (CTRM) system is provided. In one embodiment, the method includes receiving test result metadata pertaining to test result messages provided to a CTRM system by a diagnostic test facility, verifying compliance of the diagnostic test facility with prescribed usage of the CTRM system using the test result metadata, and sending a message to an interested party regarding whether or not compliance of the diagnostic test facility has been verified.
