  • Patent number: 8795300
Abstract: The present invention relates to an anastomotic device (10) comprising a first ring (20) having a first contact surface (21) and a second ring (30) having a second contact surface (31). The rings (20, 30) are suitable to be approached in the axial direction (X) such as to move said contact surfaces (21; 31) towards each other. The anastomotic device is characterized in that the contact surfaces (21, 31) have an undulated shape relative to a plane (?) perpendicular to the axis (X) of the rings (20, 30). According to another aspect thereof, the invention also relates to an apparatus (60) for the implantation of the anastomotic device (10). According to a further aspect thereof, the invention relates to a kit comprising an anastomotic device (10) and an apparatus (60) for the implantation of the same.

  • Patent number: 8011067
Abstract: A handle (10) is suitable for transmitting a torque between a rotation knob and a respective output shaft connectable to cables, tubes, or the like, wherein said handle comprises at least first and second transmission lines which operate between a first rotation knob (12) and a first output shaft (22) and between a second rotation knob (14) and a second output shaft (24), respectively. The first and second rotation knobs are co-axially arranged along a common axis (X). The first and second output shafts are arranged on different axes (X, Y). The handle comprises a lock-out mechanism suitable for selecting between the first transmission line and the second transmission line thus preventing the rotation of the one rotation knob while the other is being rotated.

  • Patent number: 7871418
Abstract: An applier for an anastomosis ring device. The applier has an elongate implement portion and a handle connected to the implement portion. The applier further includes a distal actuating member having catch means which, in a lock position, protrudes radially outward to engage a distal ring. The applier further includes a proximal actuating member adapted to engage a proximal ring, and an actuation mechanism to approximate the proximal and distal rings. The distal actuating member is rotatable about a longitudinal axis from its lock position to a release position thereby sliding along a deviating surface at the implement portion.
