  • Patent number: 11839588
Abstract: Arterial compression methods and apparatus may include high-frequency pulse waveforms applied to one or more cuffs on a limb. Additionally or alternatively, they may include high inflation rate configurations, such as may be used to more quickly inflate a cuff on a limb. They may also include inflating a cuff on a limb using a plurality of inflation pulses.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: July 17, 2015
Date of Patent: December 12, 2023
    Assignee: GNOTRIX, LLC
    Inventors: Edward Arkans, Brian Lakin
  • Patent number: 11672432
Abstract: Patient therapy and patient condition sensing devices and methods can be operated as a function of estimated internal hydrostatic pressure of a body part, for example at a position where a pressure or compression therapy is applied. Information relating to a patient's position, posture, ambulation and/or a physiological condition such as blood pressure can be used to control pressure or compression therapy.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: February 4, 2018
Date of Patent: June 13, 2023
    Assignee: GNOTRIX, LLC

  • Patent number: 5803357
Abstract: A thermostat includes a first temperature sensor integral with the thermostat and at least one and typically three remotely positioned temperature sensors. Switches are provided to select which one or more temperature sensors are employed to provide an averaged measured temperature. Voltages representative of the temperature ambient to each diversely placed sensor are applied to separate inputs to an analog multiplexer which transfers a single voltage to an analog-to-digital converter in accordance with address codes received from a processor. The output of the A-D converter, a digital count representative of the temperature measured by the currently selected sensor, is read by the processor and temporarily saved. Then, the next selected sensor is similarly processed.
