  • Publication number: 20230239270
Abstract: Systems and methods include operating a local security agent that is configured to allow or block flows based on security policies, to implement microsegmentation; and, responsive to a block of a flow, creating a synthetic audit event that reflects what the flow would have been had it not been blocked. The steps can include creating a packet for the flow and transmitting the packet with an indicator that it represents the synthetic audit event. The steps can include receiving the security policies which include an indicator on which blocks to create the synthetic audit event.

  • Patent number: 11565153
Abstract: A stilt comprises a floor platform, a shoe platform, a first substantially vertical support, a second substantially vertical support, and a toe assembly. The shoe platform is superposed above the floor platform. The first substantially vertical support connects a front portion of the floor platform with a front portion of the shoe platform. The second substantially vertical support connects a back portion of the floor platform with a back portion of the shoe platform. The first and second substantially vertical supports connect the shoe platform and the floor platform in a parallelogram configuration. The toe assembly is hingedly connected to a front end portion of the floor platform. A spring biases the toe assembly into alignment with the floor platform. A leg support extends upwardly from the second vertical support. A calf brace is pivotally connected to an upper end portion of the leg support.

  • Patent number: 11453107
Abstract: For a spring tool for actuating explosive fasteners to operate at its maximum potential the firing pin guide should be pushed securely against the rear of the fastener and the tip of the fastener should be pushed securely against the substrate. To achieve this, the action of the operator pushing the tool forward to actuate the tool moves the trigger body forward while compressing the firing spring until the trigger body travels the exact distance needed to release the trigger ball. A step or backstop insert is added to the inside of the trigger body such that at the exact distance where the trigger ball is released, the step contacts the rear of the firing pin guide so that all internal components of the tool to form a solid (contacting) stack, from the tip of the fastener to the end cap of the tool.

  • Patent number: 11178187
Abstract: A computer system automatically generates a proposal for network application security policies to be applied on a telecommunications network. The system provides output representing the proposed network application security policies to a user. The user provides input either approving or disapproving of the network application security policies. If the user approves, then the system applies the of the proposed microsegmentation. This process may be repeated for a plurality of hosts and subsets thereof within the same network, and may be repeated over time to modify one or more existing network application security policies. The network application security policies govern inbound and outbound connections to the hosts in the network.

  • Publication number: 20200396255
Abstract: A computer system automatically generates a proposal for performing microsegmentation on a network. The system provides output representing the proposed microsegmentation to a user. The user provides input either approving or disapproving of the proposed microsegmentation. If the user approves of the proposed microsegmentation, then the system implements the microsegmentation. Otherwise, the system does not implement the proposed microsegmentation. This process may be repeated for a plurality of proposed microsegmentations within the same network, and may be repeated over time to modify one or more existing microsegmentations. The system advantageously performs the vast majority of the work required to microsegment the network automatically, leaving only the task of review and approval to the user. This both saves a significant amount of time and increases the quality of the microsegmentation in comparison to microsegmentation solely performed manually by one or more humans.

  • Patent number: 10506966
Abstract: Methods and systems relate to determining sensory motor performance based on user non-postural movements within a generated dynamic virtual environment. The generated environment requires users to: (i) utilize primary sensor inputs (e.g., vision, vestibular sensation and somatosensation); (ii) assess the dynamic virtual environment; and (iii) integrate and translate those inputs into movement to control the dynamic virtual environment. The methods may include receiving non-postural user input with respect to a state of one or more attributes of a dynamic virtual environment provided on a user interface for one or more sessions, the one or more attributes including a control object and a target which moves with respect to the control object; determining performance information based on the user input and the state of the one or more attributes for the one or more sessions; and determining sensory motor performance information from the performance information.

  • Patent number: 9727901
Abstract: An image-based recommendation system provides a first set of selectable images to a user and receives user selections from the first set of images. If a user selects a single image from the first set of images, the product page associated with the selected image is transmitted to the user. If the user makes multiple selections from the first set of images, then the images associated with the user selections are analyzed and a second set of similar images is generated for transmission to the user. The process of receiving and analyzing user-selected images, generating image sets and transmission of generated images sets continues until the user selects a single image. The precision of identification of similar images can be improved by providing the user selections as training data to the image-based recommendation system.
