    Abstract: Chemical resistant waterproofing laminate membranes are formed by bonding an aluminum film or foil between two substantially vapor-impervious films with a chemical resistant bonding agent or adhesive such as cured liquid silicone rubber. The chemical resistant bonding agent resists delamination and deterioration of the laminate membrane caused by solvents and chemically reactive materials found in brownfield sites.
