  • Publication number: 20230276251
Abstract: The present invention relates to a system and method for calculating spare capacity in a Fixed Wireless Access (FWA) communication network at sector and network level. The capacity is measured in terms of sellable customers, that is, the number of Customer Premises Equipment (CPEs) that can be connected to a sector in order to deliver a minimum guaranteed downlink speed at a busy hour to each user. Using the available technical assets, business requirements (installation metrics, guaranteed speed, sales rate, CPE categories) and the performance of each individual sector and customer (cell and user delivered throughputs, radio quality of existing customers, activity ratio of existing customers), the present invention enables accurate estimation of the remaining number of sellable customer premise equipment, and to identify capacity bottlenecks, forecast capacity expansions and plan marketing campaigns or promotions.

  • Publication number: 20160148202
Abstract: Various embodiments provide a transaction method comprising determining, by a server, if a transaction device is registered to a service, the transaction device being one of a plurality of transaction devices selectable to initiate a transaction, the plurality of transaction devices being associated with at least one transaction credential; determining, by the server, if the transaction device is selected to initiate the transaction based on the determination if the transaction device is registered to the service; and processing, by the server, the transaction using the associated at least one transaction credential if the transaction device is determined to be selected to initiate the transaction.

  • Patent number: 6372311
Abstract: A multiple piece bodyside molding includes a cover piece connected to a base piece. The cover is formed in a manner and shape so that it may be chrome-plated while reducing the likelihood of bath/tank contamination during the chrome-plating process. Subsequent to being chrome-plated, the cover is connected to the base so as to form the resulting bodyside molding. The cover may be attached to the base via ultrasonic welding, vibration welding, snap-on connectors, or via heat-deforming or extension tabs in different embodiments of the invention.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: April 12, 2001
Date of Patent: April 16, 2002
    Assignee: Guardian Industries Corp.
