Abstract: An apparatus and method for moving people, pets, and other objects that makes such movement easier when compared with conventional methods. A sling-type device is utilized in a variety of configurations for moving people, animals, and other objects. The various configurations include pet transfer, the transport of people, animals, and objects through rough terrain, emergency response applications, hunting applications including the transfer of animals from wooded off road areas, and in industrial settings including the use of a sling for the movement of cylinders, or larger, heavy, clumsy objects.

Abstract: The invention relates to a method of forming a display blank having an encapsulated fragrance as well as a method of forming a removable reusable substrate having an encapsulated fragrance. In one embodiment, the method includes the steps of providing a base sheet carrying at least one removable reusable substrate, printing indicia on the removable reusable substrate, applying a liquid laminate to at least a portion of the removable reusable substrate, and applying a liquid slurry containing an encapsulated fragrance to at least a portion of the removable reusable substrate.

Abstract: The invention relates to a frame assembly for displaying a plurality of indicia and reflecting an image. The frame assembly comprises a display unit for displaying indicia, an enclosure for supporting the display unit, a mirror supported by the enclosure, a sensor supported by the enclosure, a mass storage device for storing the indicia to be displayed on the display unit, a central processing unit for processing the indicia, a signaling system for switching the frame assembly between a first and second mode of operation, a controller in communication with the sensor and central processing unit, and a power supply display unit. The frame assembly in a first mode displays desired indicia through the mirror and, upon the sensor detecting an object at a desired distance, in a second mode functions as a mirror to reflect an image.

Abstract: The invention relates to a display blank bearing indicia such as a pattern for grout, tile, hard wood grain, and granite. The display blank comprises in one embodiment a base sheet, and a substrate bearing the indicia, wherein the substrate is releasably attached to the base sheet. The substrate bearing indicia permits a user to select and apply any number of patterns to a wall, a floor, or a countertop to thereby provide a comprehensive view of the selected pattern on the surface. In another embodiment, the display blank includes a base sheet and substrate that bear indicia, and is appropriate for use as a calendar, a picture frame and image, or a map. In another embodiment, the display blank includes a base sheet and a substrate that bears indicia and an encapsulated fragrance.
