Abstract: Adjustable package flow stop wall systems and associated methods may operate as part of package processing stations, in order to facilitate accumulation and transfer of packages from inbound collection areas to outbound conveyances. For example, an adjustable package flow stop wall may include a wall assembly, a frame assembly, a pedal assembly, and/or a handle assembly. The wall assembly may selectively extend above the upper surface of a station between a plurality of positions, e.g., a closeout position, an active position, and a flush position, and the pedal and/or handle assemblies may be actuated to cause movement of the wall assembly. Further, the adjustable package flow stop wall may include one or more sensors, actuators, and/or input elements to enable movement of the wall assembly at least partially or fully automatically, which movements may be based on detected agents and/or packages and associated characteristics.

Abstract: An article holder assembly for use in a dishwasher appliance includes a first attachment arm for securing to a first side wall of a rack of the dishwasher appliance, a second attachment arm for securing to an opposing, second side wall of a rack of the dishwasher appliance, and at least one article positioning arm secured between the first and second attachment arms. The article positioning arm(s) is movable between an engaged position and a disengaged position. Thus, the article positioning arm(s) defines a predefined geometry configured to receive a portion of one or more articles for cleaning in the dishwasher appliance. Further, when the article positioning arm(s) is in the engaged position, the predefined geometry positions and secures one or more of the articles on a rack of the dishwasher appliance for cleaning.

Abstract: A door assembly for an appliance includes an inner door panel and outer door panel that define an interior chamber for receiving at least a first light source and a second light source. An indicator lens extends from a split receiving surface facing the light sources to an indicator aperture defined in the outer door panel. The split receiving surface has a first surface for receiving light from the first light source and a second surface for receiving light from the second light source. In addition, an opaque partition is positioned between the first light source and the second light source for at least partially blocking light from first light source and the second light source from bleeding onto the second surface and the first surface, respectively.

Abstract: A method of manufacturing an earth boring tool body including the following steps: providing a mold, the mold comprising a mold cavity defining an interior surface corresponding to an exterior shape of a tool body and a plurality of blades. Forming at least one barrier sleeve insert and disposing it adjacent the interior surface defining the mold cavity; disposing a first powder in the gap between the insert and the interior surface, disposing a second powder in the mold cavity; disposing an infiltrant material adjacent the powders; and heating the mold, thereby infiltrating the infiltrant material into the powders to form the tool body. The disclosure also includes a mold for manufacturing an earth boring tool, the mold comprising a mold cavity defining interior surfaces corresponding to an exterior shape of the tool body and the plurality of blades. Barrier sleeve inserts and/or containment sleeve inserts may be disposed adjacent interior surfaces the mold cavity.

Abstract: A dishwashing appliance includes a cabinet and a tub in the cabinet. The tub defines a wash chamber for receipt of articles for washing. A door is rotatably mounted to the cabinet for movement between a closed position wherein the wash chamber is sealingly enclosed and an open position permitting access to the wash chamber for loading and unloading of articles from the dishwashing appliance. The dishwashing appliance also includes a control console positioned on the door. The control console includes a console cover on an exterior surface of the door, a console bracket mounted within an interior of the door and proximate the console cover, and a circuit board attached to an interior surface of the console cover with a double-sided adhesive film. The double-sided adhesive film sealingly engages the console cover and the console bracket.

Abstract: A sump mounting assembly for mounting a sump with the tub of a dishwasher appliance is provided herein. The sump mounting assembly may include a sump having a seal extending around the side of the sump, one or more latch receivers mounted to the bottom side of the sump, and one or more latches rotatably attached to the latch receivers, wherein rotation of the latch causes compression of the seal, thereby sealing the tub.

Abstract: A vehicle rail system has a frame mountable to a vehicle, the frame having a plurality of support legs, the support legs interconnected via support beams. One or more fixed rails are mountable to the support frame, each fixed rail comprising a plurality of bearings thereon and configured to receive a sliding rail, the sliding rail having a plurality of grooves for receiving the bearings of the fixed rail so as to be slidable thereon. The bearings are located along regular intervals of the fixed rails on each non-mounted side. The sliding rail is then able to slide along the bearings of the fixed rail, extending to the exterior of the frame mounted in the vehicle.

Abstract: A Basic Input/Output System (BIOS)/Unified Extensible Firmware Interface (UEFI) on a Self-Service Terminal (SST) loads ATM resources into volatile memory of the SST during a boot of the SST in a predefined order. Each time, during an SST boot, where the order is attempting to be changed; a credential is required to change the predefined order and the credential has to be authenticated before the predefined order is changed during the SST boot.

Abstract: A dishwasher appliance includes a tub. A leak pan is positioned below the tub. A leveling assembly is configured for adjusting a level of the tub. The leveling assembly includes a housing mounted to the leak pan. A leveling leg is positioned within the housing. The leveling leg has a foot. An axle is mounted to the leak pan. A gear set is positioned within the housing. The gear set is configured to transfer rotation of the axle through the gear set to the leveling leg to adjust the level of the tub. The foot of the leveling leg is spaced from a thread on an outer surface of the leveling leg such that the gear set unmeshes from the thread on the outer surface of the leveling leg when the leveling leg is fully retracted.

Bearings attached to the frames may engage channels formed in rails of the other frame in a manner such that as the moveable frame slides backward relative to the fixed frame, the moveable frame extends from the back side of the fixed frame. Simultaneously, a back end of the moveable frame rotates down as it extends from the fixed frame to improve access to cargo securing features of the moveable frame.

Abstract: Break-away connectors are disclosed. The break-away connectors may be configured to be coupled in at least two configurations, for example, a high force configuration and a low force configuration. The break-away connectors may also be incrementally adjustable between the high force configuration and the low force configuration. The break-away connectors may be coupled to a first medical device and a second medical device. Methods of using and/or coupling the break-away connectors are also disclosed.

Abstract: A dishwashing appliance includes a cabinet and a tub in the cabinet. The tub defines a wash chamber for receipt of articles for washing. At least one leg (3) has a multi-directional foot assembly (11) adjustably securable to a support structure and a domed portion (21) with a slot (27) through it extending along an arcuate path that receives an attaching member (31). The domed portion is preferably surrounded by a portion (25) securable to the support structure. The one leg is then adjustably securable at one end to the attaching member and to the raised portion. The one leg is then securable at another end to a second leg or mast (7). With at least a section (7?) of the second leg or mast preferably aligned vertically, the respective legs can be secured in place to the support structure and to each other with the antenna then attached to the upstanding, vertical mast section (7?).

When a new hard disk is detected as being present and an identifier for the new hard disk is missing from a whitelist, a signed hard disk identifier is verified from storage on the new hard disk. If the signed hard disk identifier is verified: the new hard disk is authenticated, the whitelist is updated to include the new hard disk identifier, a unique identifier for BIOS/UEFI and the new hard disk identifier are written to the storage of the new hard disk, and the boot process is permitted to continue for the SST.
