Abstract: A system and method for rules-driven adjudication is disclosed. The system includes a storage includes a rule library having a plurality of rules, each rule being in a human-readable format and including a first data tag, a comparator, a comparison value, and a result. The system also includes a rules manager configured to receive and store a new rule. The system includes a rules evaluator configured to receive an adjudication request having a data object associated with a data tag, and evaluate the request and create a primary determination by applying a first rule to the request, and further applying a first subsequent rule and all logically adjacent rules until all logically adjacent rules have been exhausted and the primary determination is an indefinite outcome or the applying of a final rule returns an outcome that becomes the primary determination.

Abstract: A pedal positioning apparatus has a ratcheting assembly that includes a handle, a shaft, an attachment arm that extends from the handle and at least one trigger. The pedal positioning apparatus also includes a lever arm having a first end and a second end. The lever arm is pivotally connected to the handle at one end and also includes a pedal hooking feature at the other end. The pedal positioning apparatus further includes a bracket connected to the bar to support a pedal-contacting pad.

Abstract: A removable, expansion sealing plug has an annular seal formed of an elastic material, which seal is expanded by a fruste-conical expansion member when the expansion member is drawn into a retention member, the retention member having an outer surface with screw threads, and the expansion member being rotationally fixed, but axially movable, relative to the retention member. When installed, retention member screw threads fix the plug in position and prevent forcible expulsion from the installation hole and the expansion of the seal causes compression of the seal between the wall of the installation hole and the expansion member and frictional interference between the seal and the installation hole and between the seal and the expansion member, thereby preventing the rotation of the plug within the installation hole.
