Abstract: A safety chain tie down assembly is shown and described. The safety chain tie down assembly may comprise a body member, a pin member, and a securing member. The pin member may include a plunging portion configured to engage with a receiver of an under bed hitch mounting device. The pivot motion of the plunging portion may position the pin member between an unlocked position and a locked position. The safety chain tie down assembly may include a securing member that includes a lever, in which actuation of the lever positions the securing member into a secured configuration.

Abstract: An adapter assembly configured to install a roof rack accessory to a vehicle is provided. The roof rack accessory may include a vehicle attachment assembly having a fastener and a locking mechanism. In particular, the adapter assembly may comprise a wrench, an adapter, and a driving sleeve. The adapter engaging with the wrench includes an adapter body that includes first and second engagement portions and a driving post that engages the fastener of the vehicle attachment assembly. The driving sleeve may be engageable with the adapter, wherein the locking mechanism of the vehicle attachment assembly is engaged with the driving sleeve while the fastener of the vehicle attachment assembly is engaged with the adapter.

The accessory adapter may also include an accessory adapter body selectively attached to the body member, where the accessory adapter body is capable of securing an accessory to the cargo accessory management system.

Abstract: A cargo mounting system is shown and described. The cargo mounting system may include a rail having first and second portions and a length, the first portion being opposite the second portion, a first engaging member positioned on the first portion of the rail, and a second engaging member positioned on the second portion of the rail. The cargo mounting system may also include at least one vehicle attaching member selectively attached to and positionable on the second engaging member of the rail, the at least one vehicle attaching member selectively attachable to a vehicle, and at least one accessory mounting member selectively attached to and positionable on at least one of the first and second engaging members, where the at least one accessory mounting member is capable of carrying an item.

Abstract: A folding mechanism for a cargo accessory is shown and described. The folding mechanism may include a linkage selectively attachable to a vehicle, and a cargo accessory carrying member pivotally attached to the linkage, where the cargo accessory carrying member is capable of locking engagement with the linkage. The folding mechanism may also include a release member operatively attached to the cargo accessory carrying member, where the release member is selectively axially positionable from a first position whereby the cargo accessory carrying member releases from the locking engagement with the linkage permitting pivoting of the cargo accessory carrying member relative to the linkage.
