  • Publication number: 20240037673
Abstract: Certain aspects of the present disclosure provide techniques and systems for automatically detecting, tracking, and processing certain information content, based on voice input from a user. A voice enabled content tracking system receives natural language content corresponding to audio input from a user. A determination is made as to whether the natural language content includes a first type of information, based on evaluating the natural language content with a first machine learning model. In response to determining the natural language content comprises the first type of information, a temporal association of the first type of information is determined, based on evaluating the natural language content with a second machine learning model, and a message including an indication of the temporal association of the first type of information is transmitted to the user.

  • Patent number: 7840119
Abstract: A display device with personal versatile recorder capabilities is provided which is capable of processing progressive I-slice refreshed MPEG data streams to enable trick play mode features. The display device comprises a receiver for receiving a progressive I-slice refreshed MPEG data stream having I-slices distributed over multiple P-frames. The display device further comprises a syntax parser for parsing the data stream to locate I-slices which make up an I-frame. A storage device is provided for storing the data stream. The display device also comprises an interface for receiving a command for a trick play mode feature. A processor associated with the syntax parser recovers the located I-slices from the storage device and assembles the recovered I-slices into one or more constructed I-frames. A decoder is provided for decoding the constructed I-frames to enable the trick play mode features.

  • Publication number: 20040260823
Abstract: Methods and apparatus are provided for sending multiple MPEG transport streams over an interface, between, e.g., a host set top box (STB) and an endpoint device such as an access control device (ACD). The addition of a multi-byte field consisting of Transport ID (TSID), Packet ID (PKTID), Cyclic Redundancy Check (CRC) bits, Local Time Stamp etc. to an MPEG-2 transport stream makes possible simultaneous transfer of multiple transport streams through high speed isochronous transfers using only one transmit and one receive pipe. Use of only one transmit and one receive pipe causes less CPU loading and offers better bandwidth utilization by causing much less overhead on the bus compared to using multiple transmit and receive pipes.
