    Abstract: A cutting platform for use with an agricultural harvester includes at least one platform section. Each platform section includes a frame, a cutterbar assembly defining a leading edge of the platform section, an endless belt, and a plurality of float arms pivotally attached to the frame. At least one float arm carries a roller which supports the endless belt and is positioned within a loop of the endless belt. Each of the rollers are mounted to a respective support frame that is independently pivotally mounted to the frame around a transverse axis at its rear end. An assembly for guiding the conveyor belt on the rollers is provided. It includes a ridge on an interior side of the belt and a groove within the roller. The ridge and the groove are provided in the vicinity of the rear end of the rollers.

An elongated guide is integrally formed on the base structure face opposite the face containing the cleats.

    Abstract: A camming member is used to adjust two beater grates. The camming member has two circular camming discs. The first camming disc engages an oval aperture on the first beater grate. The second camming disc engages a U-shaped slot on the second beater grate. An intermediate transition grate is located between the two grates and is bolted to the camming member. The transition grate has a radial aggressive profile and a tangential less aggressive profile. By rotating the camming member the beater grates are moved up and down and the profile of the transition grate is changed.

    Abstract: The invention is directed to an assembly for readily removing an axial separator from an agricultural combine. The axial separator is positioned within the combine side sheets by rails that are secured to the sides of the side sheets. A sprocket type wheel mounted on the combine engages the rails. The separator is also provided with guide wheels and guide pins facilitating the axial movement within the combine. A locking assembly located at the rear of the separator can be bolted to the guide rails. A transverse lifting pin is located to the rear of the combine to facilitate removal of the separator module from the combine. Movement of the axial separator within the combine is controlled by a worm gear assembly that can be manually actuated by a crank arm.
