    Abstract: A headgear assembly for retaining a respiratory mask on a user's face includes arrangements or components that allow for variation in a size of the headgear assembly. In some configurations, the headgear assembly includes one or more hubs, each of which are configured to connect a top and rear strap together. The size of the headgear assembly can be determined by the size or configuration of the hub. In other configurations, the headgear assembly comprises one or more spacer elements within one or more straps of the headgear. The size of the headgear assembly can be determined by the size of the spacer element or a relative position between the strap and the spacer element.

    Abstract: A system and method are provided for exposing an imaging medium. The method uses a focal plane shutter system with two reversible motors controlled by a servo control processor. A belt connects the motors. One end of the belt is attached to a shaft of the first reversible motor. The other end of the belt is connected to a shaft of the second reversible motor. In the belt, there are a plurality of fixed width slits. The servo control processor selects one of the fixed width slits according to a desired exposure time setting. The two reversible motors move the belt during an imaging cycle. During the imaging cycle, the first motor winds the belt around its shaft. The second motor simultaneously unwinds the belt from around its shaft. The servo control processor controls the motors to accelerate the selected slit up to a constant imaging medium traversal speed. The constant traversal speed is also determined by the desired exposure time setting.

    Abstract: An electro-optical framing camera forward motion compensation (FMC) system comprising a moving shutter and a full frame focal plane array detector is disclosed. The reconnaissance system is designed to minimize the variation of image motion from a target scene across the focal plane array. The full frame focal plane array, such as a Charge Coupled Device (CCD), is designed to transfer and add the image from pixel to pixel at a predetermined rate of image motion corresponding to the region exposed by the focal plane shutter. The focal plane shutter aperture and velocity are set to predetermined values coordinated with the available illumination. The CCD image transfer rate is set to minimize the smear effects due to image motion in the region of the scene exposed by the focal plane shutter. This rate is variable with line of sight depression angle, aircraft altitude, and aircraft velocity/altitude ratio.
