    Abstract: A handpiece for a surgical irrigator and suction device includes a drip-free valve arrangement in which the portion of the flexible irrigation conduit is kinked in a V-shape. The extent to which the flexible irrigation conduit is kinked is controlled by a trigger, adapted for one-hand operation and in which the trigger can be controlled to be locked, selectively, in a full flow, no flow or manually controllable variable flow mode.
