  • Publication number: 20240144320
Abstract: One embodiment of an existing customer lead generation system comprises a vendor customer information database, a vendor criteria database, a web server, a matching engine, and a transmission component. The vendor customer information database identifies vendor's existing customers. The vendor criteria database determines which leads each vendor wants to receive. Separate criteria may be specified for consumers that are existing customers and consumers that are not existing customers. The web server receives characteristics of a consumer and a product or service. The matching engine compares the consumer characteristics with the vendor customer information database to identify vendors for which the consumer is an existing customer. The matching engine applies existing customer criteria to match the consumer with existing vendors. The matching engine applies non-existing customer criteria to match the consumer with other vendors.

  • Patent number: 11973205
Abstract: An energy storage system includes an energy storage component. It further includes heat generating electronics. It further includes a fluid circulator that transfers fluid between the energy storage component and the heat generating electronics. The circulator is controlled to alternatively transfer fluid from the battery to the heat generating electronics or from the heat generating electronics to the energy storage component based at least in part on a thermal state of the energy storage system.

  • Patent number: 11512749
Abstract: The brake piston pushing tool is a mechanical device. The brake piston pushing tool comprises a worm drive and a brake mechanism. The brake mechanism is a mechanical device used to slow and stop the motion of a vehicle. The brake mechanism is a well-known and documented device. The brake mechanism further comprises a caliper housing, a piston, and an anvil. The anvil attaches to the caliper housing such that a space is formed between the caliper housing and the anvil. The piston installs in the caliper housing such that the piston slides into and out of the space formed between the caliper housing and the anvil. The worm drive is a mechanical device that pushes the piston into the caliper during maintenance activities on the brake mechanism.

  • Publication number: 20200167619
Abstract: An ammunition tracking system. The ammunition tracking system comprises a server having a data storage. The server is configured to receive data corresponding to a symbolic encoded identifier marked on ammunition, receive data corresponding to a purchaser of the ammunition, associate the data corresponding to the symbolic encoded identifier with the data corresponding to the purchaser of the ammunition, receive data corresponding to a retrieved ammunition casing, and compare the data corresponding to the retrieved ammunition casing with the data corresponding to identification of the ammunition. Upon matching the data corresponding to the retrieved ammunition casing with the data corresponding to identification of the ammunition, the server is configured to transmit the data corresponding to the purchaser of the ammunition.

  • Patent number: 9774372
Abstract: A computer-implemented technique can include receiving, at a first computing device including one or more processors, a request to share a document stored at a remote file storage server. The first computing device can establish a short range wireless communication link with a second computing device associated with an intended recipient of the document. The first computing device can obtain an identifier for the intended recipient from the second computing device using the short range wireless communication link. The first computing device can associate the identifier with the request and can then transmit the request to the remote file storage server. The request can cause the remote file storage server to provide the intended recipient with access to the document via the second computing device.

  • Publication number: 20150294396
Abstract: A floor plan of an indoor environment is provided to a mobile device in response to a request to access specific items in the environment. A user activates the mobile device to access the floor plan and the floor plan may be retrieved based on the mobile device's current location. The floor plan is displayed on the mobile device with indicators of locations where the requested items may be accessed. A path is also provided on the floor plan to indicate the direction that the user should follow to access each requested item. The path may be displayed as a number of path segments between the locations of the requested items. The path segments may indicate the shortest distance between the items such that the user can follow the most direct path to access the requested items.

  • Patent number: 5841116
Abstract: Bar code labels, each bearing a pre-identified insignia, each insignia corresponding to a unique owner, are affixed to the personal possessions of a number of owners. A set of owner identifiers are stored in a first location wherein each owner identifier corresponds to a unique owner. For each owner identifier stored, a set of identifying data is also stored. Each identifying data corresponds to one of the set of bar code labels. At a second location, remote from the first, identifying data corresponding to the identifying insignia on one of the labels is input by scanning the bar code. The input identifying data is transmitted to the first location and compared with one or more of the set of identifying data stored at the first location. If the input identifying data matches one of the set of identifying data, the owner identifier is retrieved and displayed.

  • Patent number: 5684870
Abstract: This invention permits transferring calls along with data that identifies, for example, the caller's name, pertinent account information, any transaction information acquired prior to the need to transfer the call and why the caller is being transferred between a plurality of call centers. The method and system of the invention, therefore, coordinate a voice component and a data component of a call to transfer the call from a first call center across a communication path such as a switching network to a second call center. The first call center includes the necessary network control circuitry to direct an associated switching network to transfer to the second call center the voice component of the call together with an identifier for uniquely identifying the call. The identifier may be generated using DNIS and/or ISDN protocol principles. The method and system also generate and direct a transfer screen from the first call center to the second call center.
