Abstract: System and method for a learner interaction process comprising receiving information regarding one or more learners, receiving information regarding the educational material that the one or more learners would like to learn, presenting more than one question regarding the educational material prior to presenting the educational material to the one or more learners, receiving answers to the more than one questions presented to the one or more learners, presenting the educational material to the one or more learners, identifying the amount of time the one or more learns reviewed the educational material, presenting and receiving answers to more than one question regarding the educational material that the one or more learners has reviewed after the educational material has been presented to the one or more learners, and determining whether the one or more learners learned the educational material presented based on the one or more learners answers to the questions.

Abstract: System and method for providing new educational material to one or more learners comprising analyzing the words or images used in one or more items of original educational material to determine the topics covered in the original educational material, identifying the topics covered in the original educational material, identifying the order in which the topics are presented in the original educational material, creating a list of the topics covered in the original educational material and the order in which they are presented, searching available databases and publically known sources for content on the topics covered in the original educational material, compiling the content on the topics covered in the original educational material to create a new educational material that covers the topics of the original educational material and providing or providing access to the new educational material to one or more learners.

Abstract: An interactive study aid provides student- or other source-selected (208) questions for studying. Preferably in conjunction with machine-implemented or other information processing, the interactive study aid of the present invention provides a student with the ability to acquire, present/study, and collaborate upon study material (202) information. Acquisition of study material (202) information may be made through soft-text resources such as digital books or online resources. A pen scanner may be used to access hard copy information making pertinent portions available to the interactive study aid. Study material information may also be entered by hand. Upon entering the study material, the student can indicate the likelihood of its appearing on a test or the importance of the information to the student.
