  • Patent number: 11655686
Abstract: A degradable plug device for a pipe has an outer plug body and an inner plug for preventing fluid flow through the pipe until the inner plug has been removed from the outer plug body. The outer plug body and the inner plug are of a degradable material. The inner plug has a chamber with at least one port to the exterior of the inner plug. The exposed surfaces of the degradable plug have a protective layer thereon. The inner plug is disposable in at least a first position, in which the inner plug prevents the fluid flow through the pipe. The inner plug is adapted to undergo, in use, a degradation initiation operation such that fluid is able to enter the chamber via the at least one port to initiate corrosion or dissolution of the inner plug from inside the chamber.

  • Patent number: 10891594
Abstract: Described herein is a computer implemented method for generating a calendar interface. The method includes determining a total time period value indicating a total time period to be displayed, determining a segment duration, determining an interval duration, calculating timeline coordinates defining a timeline extending from a foreground of the display to a background of the display and having a perspective appearance, and displaying a timeline in accordance with the timeline coordinates. The timeline coordinates define the timeline to have a plurality of segments, each segment representing a period of time within the total time period equal to the segment duration. Each segment is composed of a plurality of timeline intervals, each timeline interval representing a period of time within the total time period equal to the interval duration.

  • Patent number: 10735472
Abstract: The container deployment system of the present disclosure provides systems and processes to perform authorization of each unique container instance by the enterprise organization that published the container image and requested the container instance. A controller may be programmed or configured to apply one or more authorization policies to determine if a container instance should be executed or not. The authorization policies may include rules that restrict the number of containers running, cost consideration for executing a container, violations of time constraints for the execution of a container image, and violations of location constraints for execution of a container image, among other variations.

  • Publication number: 20200062303
Abstract: A wheel suspension device having a single-wheel steering for a motor vehicle with driving of the steered wheels, having a steering knuckle spring-suspended on the vehicle chassis for rotatably supporting a vehicle wheel. The steering knuckle can be pivoted about a pivot axis by means of the single-wheel steering. The single-wheel steering includes a worm gear having a worm wheel, which is rotationally fixed to the steering knuckle and arranged coaxially with the pivot axis, and which meshes with a worm, by means of which the worm wheel can be rotated about the pivot axis and which can be driven by a steering motor arranged on the vehicle chassis by way of a steering drive shaft in the form of an articulated shaft.

  • Publication number: 20130246317
Abstract: Systems and methods for assessing the likelihood of a student of an educational institution failing a particular course taken by the student. Configuration data that identifies, for a particular course, a plurality of grade book applications, a plurality of student information systems, and a plurality of learning management systems is stored in the memory of a computing device. A processor receives, via adapters, input data from grade book applications, student information systems, and learning management systems. The adapters transform the input data into a standard risk model for the processor to generate, based on the received risk data, a signal indicative of a likelihood of a student failing a particular course.

  • Patent number: 8005472
Abstract: The present invention provides a method for storing data relating to network conditions in a mobile unit. A mobile station receives a signal from a base station. The mobile station stores data associated with the signal in memory within the mobile unit. When the mobile unit determines that the signal has been dropped, the mobile unit freezes the memory until it can transmit the data to a network outage data center. This helps the system diagnose and correct transient service outages.
