  • Publication number: 20240040975
Abstract: Systems, apparatuses, and methods provide for technology that locates one or more masses of an ocean-based weather system, as the ocean-based weather system starts to organize and before the ocean-based weather system spawns a land-based storm, and controls a transmission of electromagnetic radiation from the space platform to the one or more masses, wherein the transmitted electromagnetic radiation tracks the one or more masses as the ocean-based weather system is starting to organize and rotate, and wherein the transmitted electromagnetic radiation prevents the ocean-based weather system from rotating and spawning the land-based storm.

  • Publication number: 20240005106
Abstract: Vehicle mounted Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) systems and associated methods are provided. An example vehicle mounted RFID system is configured to operate an RFID system in a high-power mode. The example vehicle mounted RFID system is further configured to determine that an operating state of a vehicle switched from an active charging state to an inactive state. The example vehicle mounted RFID system is further configured to, in response to determine that the operating state of the vehicle switched from the active charging state to the inactive state, initialize a timer for a period of time. The example vehicle mounted RFID system is further configured to, in response to an elapse of the period of time, switch the RFID system to a low-power mode.

  • Patent number: 11825776
Abstract: Systems, apparatuses, and methods provide for technology that locates one or more masses of a thunderstorm system, as the thunderstorm system starts to organize and before the thunderstorm system spawns a tornado, and controls a transmission of electromagnetic radiation from the space platform to the one or more masses, wherein the transmitted electromagnetic radiation tracks the one or more masses as the thunderstorm system is starting to organize and rotate, and wherein the transmitted electromagnetic radiation prevents the thunderstorm system from rotating and spawning the tornado.

  • Patent number: 11564361
Abstract: Solar radiation is collected and converted to microwave energy by means maintained in outer space on one or more platforms in space. The microwave energy is then transmitted to earth and directed to and constantly focused on one or more segments of a generally circular and slowly rotating tropical depression, which is a precursor to a tropical storm and then a hurricane (alternatively called a cyclone or typhoon). The focused microwave energy interrupts the cycle of vertical upward and downward movement of air, water, & water vapor, and destabilizes the developing rotational motion of the tropical depression, causing it to break up and dissipate, and preventing it from ultimately developing into a hurricane. When not focusing microwave energy on a tropical depression, the microwave energy can alternatively be used to create earth based solar energy, which would help alleviate costs of operating the system solely for hurricane prevention.

  • Patent number: 9132677
Abstract: A mobile printer comprising a printer body and a printer door is provided. The printer body typically has a recessed area that is sized to receive a media roll. The media roll typically has a void interior portion that is sized to receive one or more batteries that provide power to the mobile printer. Further, the printer door is operatively coupled to the printer body. When in an open position, the printer door typically allows for placement of a media roll from a side of the mobile printer into the recessed area. When closed, however, the media roll is typically retained in place relative to the printer body and the media from the media roll is captured for printing.
