Abstract: A method of acknowledging contributions to an organization or cause made by supporters, includes the steps of receiving from a plurality of supporters details of the supporters' names; entering the supporters' name details into a computer system; transferring the supporters' name details electronically directly onto a public use item or onto a printing plate or a camera-ready artwork print-out for printing on a public use item, wherein a “public use item” is a garment or item of sporting or other equipment which is to be used at a public event: and using the public use item bearing supporters' name details at one or more public events.
