Abstract: A device for enabling a user to smoke a cigarette inside in an enclosed vehicle and discharge cigarette smoke outside the enclosed vehicle includes a housing configured for mounting on an enclosed vehicle. A cigarette holder is provided for holding a cigarette inside the housing and a mouth piece is provided for being held in a user's mouth. A tube extends between the mouth piece and cigarette holder, and a passage fluidly connects the mouth piece and cigarette holder, so that the smoker can breathe smoke-filled air in from the cigarette in the housing and breathe out smoke from the user's mouth into the housing. A valve fluidly connects to the passage, so that smoke-filled air can be drawn in and blown out, so that the user can inhale and exhale cigarette smoke from the cigarette in the housing without exhaling smoke into the enclosed vehicle.

Abstract: The present invention provides improved methods for correction of temporomandibular joint internal derangement with closed lock via small incision surgical technique. In one embodied form, the unique method comprises the steps of: (a) effecting visualization and orientation of the surgical site of a patient utilizing an arthroscopic device comprising a mechanism for prescribed calibration of the arthroscope depth; (b) effecting arthroscopic inspection of the surgical site, and in particular, the superior compartment of the temporomandibular joint; and (c) effecting lysis comprising resection and incision of adhesions disposed between disc and fossa of the temporomandibular joint region, concommittent with disc displacement. The inventive surgical technique includes an "arthroscopic sweep" of the superior compartment of the TMJ with lysis comprising resects of superior compartment adhesions. Subsequent to lysis, the superior compartment is thoroughly lavaged via irrigation and suction.

Abstract: The variable information sign includes, in one embodiment, a display board 10 having a smooth and nonporous display surface 10A, a carriage 12 supported from and movable with respect to display board 10, a plurality of print modules 14 that are supported by carriage 12, an erase roller 16 also supported from carriage 12, and a re-inking station 18 supported from display board 10 and located at one side thereof. Each of the print modules contains a supply of a dry erase ink which is located into the print module when the carriage is in proximity to the re-inking station. As the carriage is caused to move in a predetermined direction, each of the print modules is deactuated and the erase roller wipes the display surface to remove any previously-printed information.
