  • Publication number: 20130249588
Abstract: A test device for testing a solar module includes a transfer unit for transporting the solar module through the test device, an irradiation unit for irradiating the solar module, an imaging unit for optically capturing an image of the solar module and a tapping device for sensing parameters of the solar module and/or for supplying voltage to the solar module. The tapping device includes a contact bar on which a contact surface positioned on the solar module can glide or slide along during the transport process in order to generate an electrical connection. The contact surface is provided by a contact device that can be temporarily attached to the solar module.

  • Patent number: 8052079
Abstract: A swivel machine for wire processing includes a coiler arranged between a cutting-off/insulation-stripping unit and a second swivel arm. The cut length of wire whose leading wire-end has been processed is coiled by means of a coiling disk of the coiler. After the leading wire-end of the cut length of wire has been processed, it is grasped by the coiler. A belt drive then advances the wire by the desired length of the cut length of wire, and simultaneously the coiler coils the advancing wire into a coil. After the coiling operation, a linearly movable stacker unit grasps the coil, and the coiling disk releases the coil. After the trailing wire-end has been processed, the placement unit moves further in the wire advance direction to the deposit. While the trailing wire-end is being processed, and while traveling to the deposit, the coil is provided with a bind.

  • Patent number: 6467607
Abstract: A seal grommet feeding device having a feeding track that advances seal grommets along a groove in the feed track by vibration of the feed track. Grommets are randomly dropped on an end portion of the feed track, some of the grommets orienting correctly in the feed track groove whereas certain grommets may be incorrectly oriented. Incorrectly oriented seal grommets are blown off the feed track by compressed air through a nozzle alongside the feed track. Substantially opposite the nozzle, an upper retention shoulder is provided for abutting an upper end of a correctly oriented seal grommet such that correctly oriented seal grommets are blown off the feed track. This is particularly advantageous when higher feeding speeds are required or where seal grommets are particularly top heavy.

  • Patent number: 6135164
Abstract: An apparatus for preparing and positioning U-shaped loops of wires on a conveyor of a harness making machine comprises transfer grippers moveable in a vertical direction V. The transfer grippers are for transferring the wire loops from the selector and cutting station into the jaws of conveyor grippers. Provision of the transfer grippers enables initial feeding and cutting of the wire loops during movement of the conveyor grippers thereby decreasing cycle time.

  • Patent number: 5519937
Abstract: The present invention relates to a guiding method and device for the automatic introduction of a male piece into a female piece. The pieces are of general cylindrical or prismatic shape of given axis and are mounted on supports permitting their displacement with respect to each other according to three orthonormal axes of translation, one of which is parallel to axis and constitutes the introduction axis. The male piece is mounted so as to be flexible in rotation about two other axes with respect to its support and the device comprises a guide for guiding in relative movement and along a plane perpendicular to the introduction axis above the socket of the female piece, so as to cover part of the opening thereof, and when the male piece is brought into abutment against said guide, the piece is inclined of a predetermined angle.
