Abstract: A cleaning machine, preferably a dishwasher is provided. The machine comprises at least one spray pipe, spray arm or spray arm blade being substantially of elongate extent which is provided with a plurality of, at least two, nozzles along its elongate extent. Cleaning fluid is sprayed onto items to be cleaned, for example containers or dishes, via the at least two nozzles. The flow of the medium which is to be sprayed on is deflected within the spray pipe directly in front of at least one of the nozzles such that the jet flowing through the nozzle opening contains no flow components which are directed in the longitudinal direction of the spray pipe. As a result, the jet emerges from the spray pipe substantially orthogonally to the axis of symmetry of said spray pipe.

  • Publication number: 20070104608
Abstract: The invention relates to a method and a device for the recooling of cleaned items in automatic cleaning and disinfecting machines for containers containing human excreta. According to the proposed method, the items to be cleaned, which are contained in a chamber (1), are rinsed off inside said chamber (1), after which a precleaning rinsing step takes place. The items to be cleaned, which are contained in the chamber (1), are then subjected to a final cleaning with water that contains a clear rinse additive, before the items to be cleaned are subjected to a disinfection step in the chamber (1) by introduction of steam into the latter. With the door (5) closed, air is forcibly introduced into the steam-filled chamber (1), which leads to steam condensation inside the chamber (1) and also to cooling and drying of the cleaned items contained in the chamber (1).
