  • Patent number: 7293916
Abstract: A linear guidance device has an elongated guiding rail having at least one throughgoing opening extending from the upper surface for receiving a mounting element for mounting the guiding rail on a lower component. A guidance car is displaceably guided on the guiding rail in a longitudinal direction of the guiding rail. A cover band can be attached to an upper surface of the guiding rail, the cover band formed so that a limiting line of a free end of the cover band is formed so that when a point of the cover band coincides with a boundary line of the throughgoing opening in a selected direction, a portion of the limiting line is arranged completely outside of a boundary line of the throughgoing opening.

Abstract: A linear guidance device has an elongated guiding rail having an upper surface and at least one throughgoing opening extending from the upper surface for receiving a mounting element for mounting the guiding rail on a higher order unit, a guidance car displaceably guided on the guiding rail in a longitudinal direction of the guiding rail, a cover band attachable to the upper surface of the guiding rail and covering the at least one throughgoing hole, the cover band being formed so that a limiting line of at least one of free ends of the cover band is formed so that when a point of the cover band which is located in the longitudinal direction of the guiding rail at a greatest distance forwardly is in alignment with a boundary line of the at least one throughgoing opening in a direction extending substantially orthogonally to a plane of the cover band, a portion of the limiting line extending from the point at its side facing away from a longitudinal central plane of the cover band is arranged completely outsid

  • Patent number: 5074180
Abstract: To permit rapid axial relocation of cutter rollers or cutter wheels (2, 3; 11; 42; 78, 121) on supporting shafts (6, 7; 70, 71; 100), the cutter rollers are located on respective positioning or carrier rings (12, 41, 74, 75; 102, 120 130) surrounding the respective shafts, and are axially clamped in position by a rotatable operating ring (13, 22, 28, 40, 52, 88, 89; 107, 126, 138), rotatable about said positioning ring. The operating ring is rotatable, for example by being operator-accessible, at any circumferential position of the shaft, a hydraulically operated compression sleeve, or the like, so that the axial position of the cutter roller or wheel can be changed on the shaft regardless of the circumferential position of the shaft when it comes to rest after having cut a web into a ribbon, the width of which is to be changed.

  • Patent number: 4916965
Abstract: A shift linkage is used in combination with a shift lever displaceable in two substantially perpendicular directions and with a transmission having an operating shaft extending along an axis and displaceable axially and angularly to change gears. The linkage comprises a first selecting lever extending radially from the shaft, fixed for joint angular movement with the shaft, and having an outer and forming a plurality of like attachment points and a second selecting lever pivoted on the transmission and having one end engaged with the shaft for joint axial movement while permitting relative angular movement and another end forming a plurality of like attachment points.
