    Abstract: A molding installation for producing molded parts from plastic in which the molding compound is plasticized in an extruder unit and is introduced into the mold of a compression-molding unit by an injection unit. The extruder and one or more injection units are independent units arranged on a coordinate table. The extruder and injection units can be separated from and joined to one another such that one or more injection units can be releasably coupled to an extruder unit, then uncoupled from the extruder unit and moved toward one or more compression-molding units. Accordingly, two or more injection units can be filled using one extruder unit. Because the injection unit can be uncoupled from the extruder, only the significantly lower mass of the injection unit has to be moved in order to deposit the melt strand inside the mold, and thus it is possible to move the injection unit more quickly using less power.

    Abstract: A mold closing unit for an injection molding device includes a machine frame, a moving mold platen and a fixed mold platen joined by four guide rods at the corners of the plates, with the moving mold platen being moveable along the guide rods via hydraulic cylinders connected thereto and arranged in prolongation of the rod axes, and with the diameters of one pair of piston rods being smaller and with the diameters of another pair of piston rods being greater than the diameter of the identical guide rods so that the contact surfaces of the pistons of each hydraulic cylinder on the opening and the closing sides are of different sizes.

    Abstract: The device for pressure-aided molding of shaped bodies formed from high-molecular masses, preferably of small dimension, comprises at least one preparation chamber having at least one plasticizing or transport and mixing screw conveyor and at least one charging port for filling the preparation chamber with preferably thermally plasticizable and possibly molecularly cross-linkable molding mass. The preparation chamber flow communicates with a pressure-tight transition with at least one storage chamber for plasticized polymer. The storage chamber opens into at least one mold cavity filling conduit for charging a mold with molding mass. The device also comprises a drive mechanism for translatory-relative motion of the preparation chamber and the mold cavity filling conduit. The preparation chamber has at least one prolongation.
