  • Publication number: 20160031723
Abstract: A filter assembly includes a horizontally extending buoyant member and a filter panel that extends vertically from the buoyant member, the filter panel defining a tortuous path for passage of water and a surface area for biofilm growth and capture of particles in the biofilm, the filter panel being flexible from a neutral shape and position under force, and being resilient to return to the neutral shape and position by structural rigidity after cessation of the force. The titter panel includes multiple parallel sections defined between parallel vertically extending slits. The parallel sections are flexible permitting opening of the slits. A protective cover faces away from the buoyant member opposite a direction in which the filter panel extends. The filter panel is folded over the buoyant member and the cover is folded over the filter panel.

  • Patent number: 7702443
Abstract: A control system for customizing a relationship between an operator input at an input controller and a corresponding response of a work machine is disclosed. The control system includes an input controller operable to receive an operator input and generate a corresponding control signal. The control system also includes a hand-held programmable device having parameters stored therein. The parameters are adjustable to control responsiveness of a component of the work machine over a range of inputs at the input controller. The hand-held programmable device is operable to adjust the parameters in response to an input from an operator. A control module is disposed on the work machine and is operable to receive signals from the hand-held programmable device. The signals are representative of a desired relationship between an operator input to the input controller and a corresponding response of the work machine.

  • Patent number: 7519462
Abstract: A method of operating an electrically propelled machine includes the steps of, operating an electrical power source for the machine, and limiting an output torque of an electrical propulsion motor system of the machine based upon the occurrence of a crowd force condition of the machine. An electrically propelled machine is further provided, including an electronic controller having means for limiting motor output torque based at least in part on a crowd force condition of the machine.

  • Publication number: 20030196434
Abstract: A method for controlling a desired ratio of flow in a system having multiple circuits. The method includes determining a first desired flow in a first circuit and a second desired flow in a second circuit, determining a first actual flow in the first circuit and a second actual flow in the second circuit, comparing the first desired flow to the first actual flow and the second desired flow to the second actual flow, determining a condition of one of the first and second actual flows being less than the respective first and second desired flows, and responsively initiating a command from one of the first and second circuits to the other of the first and second circuits to reduce the actual flow of the other of the first and second circuits to maintain the desired ratio of flow.
