  • Publication number: 20240086829
Abstract: Systems and methods for identifying options for order fulfillment using an API are provided. The system receives, via the API, an order inquiry comprising customer information and item information about an item sold via a merchant website. The order inquiry can be received in response to a customer placing the item in an electronic shopping cart. The item information includes an item identifier and a quantity. The customer information includes a customer address. Using the item information and the customer information, the system identifies warehouse nodes and carriers via which the item can be delivered to the customer. The system confirms inventory of the item in the warehouse nodes. For each warehouse node with sufficient inventory, the system identifies shipping options for the item, including levels of service, cutoff order times, and prices. The system then generates fulfillment options for the item and provides the options to the merchant website.

  • Publication number: 20240009138
Abstract: A dissolvable film delivery system formed by printing one or more layers of inks formulated to deliver specific ingredients and convey graphic imagery and textual information. The dissolvable film is printed to convey a graphic image or textual message using a single printed layer. The dissolvable film may further be printed using multiple layers of inks that incorporate different ingredients into the overall graphic design to achieve a desired effect from incorporated layers. The dissolvable graphic is further printed in layers to achieve a method of encapsulation allowing for a sequential delivery of ingredients comprising flavors and dosage of active ingredients.

  • Publication number: 20230351465
Abstract: A user treatment engine uses user data describing characteristics of a user to evaluate a set of treatments that the user treatment engine may apply to the user. The user treatment engine generates treatment cost predictions for the treatments and generates treatment scores for the set of treatments based on the treatment cost predictions for the treatments and the user data for the user. The user treatment engine selects and applies a treatment from the set of treatments based on the generated treatment scores. The user treatment engine determines a reward to the online concierge system for the application of the treatment to the user and updates treatment selection parameters for the applied treatment based on the determined reward.

  • Patent number: 11341554
Abstract: An online concierge system receives orders from users that include items from one or more warehouses. The online concierge system identifies the orders to shoppers, who select one or more orders to fulfill. The online concierge system uses models to estimate orders likely to be received at different times and shoppers likely to be available to fulfill orders at different times. Responsive to greater than a threshold difference between estimated orders and estimated shoppers during a time interval, the online concierge system selects one or more incentives for shoppers to select orders during the time interval to entice shoppers to select orders during the time interval. An interface displayed to the shoppers by the online concierge system may present a map of warehouses and their estimated number of orders and allow shoppers to identify incentives offered for fulfilling orders at different warehouses during the time interval.

  • Patent number: 11216166
Abstract: A media system stores immersive videos and embedded affordances for each immersive video. Each embedded affordance has a temporal range, a spatial location, and a corresponding reward. A viewer selects and plays a first immersive video. While playing the first stored immersive video, the viewer navigates to different spatial portions of the first immersive video using a spatial visibility window. The viewer activates a first embedded affordance of the first immersive video according to the spatial location and temporal range of the first embedded affordance. In response, the platform initiates the reward corresponding to the first embedded affordance. The reward includes a reward token deposited into an account corresponding to the viewer. The viewer later uses a redemption user interface to redeem a plurality of reward tokens from the account (including the deposited reward token) for a single aggregated reward.

  • Patent number: 10770113
Abstract: A computing device has memory, a microphone, and an image sensor. A process plays an immersive video in a user interface region, which displays a portion of the immersive video according to a user selected visibility window. While playing the immersive video, the user adjusts the window, and the process records information that identifies placement of the window within the immersive video. The process records audio provided by the user and records video of the user. The process uses the information that identifies placement of the window to form a customized video including what was displayed in the window while playing the immersive video. The customized video also includes a visual overlay in a peripheral portion of the customized video, which includes the recorded video of the user. The customized video also includes an audio overlay using the recorded audio. The process transmits the customized video to another computer.
