  • Patent number: 7887274
Abstract: The internally threaded connector device (10a) is a thin-walled, internally threaded tube. A relatively short portion of the device includes a polygonal wrench gripping flange area. The device (10a) is installed on an existing short length of externally threaded stud (BS). Another length of externally threaded stud (12) is installed in the internally threaded connector (10a) so that the second externally threaded stud (12) extends beyond the face of a secured component, such as a flange (F). In an exemplary embodiment, a conventional nut (N) or the like is installed on the end of the second externally threaded stud (12) to secure a flange (F) and associated gasket (G) and pipe (P) to a manifold assembly (M).

  • Publication number: 20100031486
Abstract: The hose quick release tool is a one-piece tool that is easily manipulated to engage a conduit at the coupling juncture and deform the coupling assembly in a manner to affect a release of the coupling assembly without incurring any damage to the assembly. The tool has multiple embodiments, each embodiment of the tool having openings that are dimensioned and configured to adapt to most conventional quick-coupling assemblies. The tools are preferably fabricated from metal for durability.

  • Publication number: 20080050191
Abstract: The chamfer tool is a deburring tool that can be power driven to debur a bolt or stud that has been cut off with, e.g., a cutting tool or torch. The tool comprises a spherical sectioned cutting head. The tool has a plurality of arcuate triangular cutting formations spaced out over a predetermined number of intervals around the circumference of the tool's cutting head. Preferably, five of the arcuate triangular cutting formations are disposed at approximately 72° intervals. A plurality of slanted L cutting formations are disposed within the spherical section of the cutting head to fill cutting voids created by the spacing of the arcuate triangular cutting formations. With this measure, a deburring tool is provided, which can perform a rounding off process without the occurrence of damaging stud threads.
