Patent number: 10507689Abstract: A chalk line apparatus with a housing having a body with a top, a bottom, a front, a rear, and laterally spaced sides. The body defines an internal space within which a spool is operatively mounted. A drive assembly is operable through an actuator to cause line to be accumulated on the spool through a fill opening on the housing. A supply of chalk can be introduced into the internal space to contact the line. A stopper assembly can be selectively placed in closed and open states. The stopper assembly has a blocking portion that: a) blocks passage of chalk through the fill opening with the stopper assembly in the closed state; and b) permits chalk to be directed through the fill opening and into the internal space with the stopper assembly in the open state. The stopper assembly is adjacent to the drive assembly actuator.Type: GrantFiled: March 1, 2017Date of Patent: December 17, 2019Assignee: Keson Industries, Inc.Inventors: Jude Nosek, Mark Nepil, Bryan Shova, Audra Bielskus Norvilas, Jennifer Bae Park, Hilary Farnsworth, Phillip Prestia, Leonard Mak

Patent number: 10252567Abstract: A chalk line apparatus with a housing having a body with a top, a bottom, a front, a rear, and laterally spaced sides. The body defines an internal space within which a spool is operatively mounted. A drive assembly is operable through an actuator to cause flexible line to be accumulated on the spool. The body has a front opening through which flexible line from the spool can be directed to externally of the housing. The body has a width between the laterally spaced sides and a length between the front and rear of the body. The body width tapers between the front and rear of the body over a majority of the length of the body.Type: GrantFiled: September 2, 2016Date of Patent: April 9, 2019Assignee: Keson Industries, Inc.Inventors: Jude Nosek, Mark Nepil, Bryan Shova, Audra Bielskus Norvilas, Jennifer Bae Park, Hilary Farnsworth, Phillip Prestia, Leonard Mak

Publication number: 20130341335Abstract: A nestable bakeware system includes a first bakeware container having a first container outer rim and defining a first recess, and a second bakeware container disposed within the first recess. A third bakeware container is disposed within the first recess and resides adjacent to the second bakeware container. The second and third bakeware containers are smaller than the first bakeware container and differ from one another. A lid bakeware container has a lid container outer rim and defines a second recess. The lid container outer rim is positionable in mating engagement with the first container outer rim to enclose the second bakeware container and the third bakeware container within a cavity defined by the first recess and the second recess.Type: ApplicationFiled: March 1, 2013Publication date: December 26, 2013Applicant: WKI HOLDING COMPANY, INC.Inventors: Arif SITABKHAN, John CHAP, Dan CUTCHIN, Klara PITHYOU, Reggy HUDGINS, Demetrius ROMANOS, Bryan SHOVA, Kory GUNNERSON, Kieron TSE

Publication number: 20060078199Abstract: A method for providing an intensity or brightness measurement using a digital image-capturing device comprising: selecting a target area within a field of view of the image-capturing device, the target area containing pixels; determining the brightness of pixels in the target area; accumulating the brightness values of the pixels in the target area; and determining a pixel value representative of the pixels in the target area. A device for making color measurements comprising an image-capture device, a processor or logic device, and a memory location for accumulating color data, and the processor or logic device is programmed to perform color measurements by accumulating the data for pixels located in the target area in memory, and determining a representative color value.Type: ApplicationFiled: August 11, 2005Publication date: April 13, 2006Inventors: Gary Bodnar, Christopher Pearson, Donald Staufenberg, Joshua Broehl, Bryan Shova, Ronald Duke, Karl Seibert

Publication number: 20050188671Abstract: A rake including a head, an elongate handle extending from the head, and a plurality of parallel, spaced-apart, flexible tines extending from the head opposite the handle. A brace is movable along the tines between first and second positions and limits a range of motion of the tines to change the effective length and thus the effective stiffness of the flexible tines. A locking device releasably secures the brace to the head in the first and second positions and preferably at locations between the first and second positions. Spacing between the tines remains unchanged as the brace moves between the first and second positions. The handle extends past the head to the tines improving stiffness of the head so that the rake is lightweight with a low profile.Type: ApplicationFiled: February 27, 2004Publication date: September 1, 2005Inventors: Brian Conaway, Terry Birchler, Bryan Shova, Donald Staufenberg, Joshua Broehl
