Abstract: A silver halide photographic light-sensitive material comprising a reflective support having a transmission density of not more than 0.8, having thereon, a photographic component layer comprising a silver halide emulsion layer and a layer including at least one anti-halation layer formed closer to said support than said silver halide emulsion layer is disclosed. In the photographic material, degradation of image sharpness due to use of a reflective support having low transmission density is prevented.

Abstract: A direct positive type silver halide photographic material and developing method therefor are disclosed. The photographic material have blue-, green- and red-sensitive emulsion layers and each of these emulsion layer contains at least two kinds of silver halide emulsion being different from each other in average grain size. The average grain diameter S of the emulsion having the smallest average grain size and the average grain diameter of the emulsion having the largest average grain size in each emulsion layer have a proportional relation of 1.6.ltoreq.L/S. The emulsion having the smallest average grain size is contained in a ratio of from 2 to 50% in the blue-sensitive layer and 2 to 40% in green- and red-sensitive emulsion layer.

Abstract: Irradiation and halation of a silver halide photographic lightsensitive material can be prevented by adding at least one of dyes represented by the following general formula to the layers on one or both sides of the light sensitive material. ##SPC1##(wherein X is hydrogen atom, hydroxyl group, a halogen atom or a lower alkyl group, L is a methine group which may be substituted with a lower alkyl group at mesoposition, M is hydrogen atom, an alkali metal or ammonium group and n is 1 or 2).
