The security level is set based on at least one of gate access information indicating a user of the mobile terminal is entering or exiting a gate, global positioning system (GPS) information of the mobile terminal, or an identifier (ID) of a wireless network apparatus scanned by the mobile terminal. The method further includes obtaining location information of the mobile terminal from a source that is determined according to the security level, identifying location of the mobile terminal based on the obtained location information, and applying a security policy to the mobile terminal based on the security level when the identified location corresponds to the defined location.
