The method of creating a playback control file includes reading an original PlayList from the recording medium, the original PlayList being configured to reproduce original data recorded on the recording medium, downloading at least one additional PlayList from an external source, the at least one PlayList being configured to reproduce additional data downloadable from the external source, and creating a composite PlayList by combining the original PlayList with the at least one additional PlayList, the composite PlayList being able to control reproduction of the original and additional data, individually or in combination. The method may further include playing-back any one of the original PlayList, the at least one additional PlayList, and the composite PlayList.
